Blizzard were great stealing systems and polishing them. Then they tried to do their own thing and everything sucked.

If Blizzard was smart (they are not) they would remake D1 and put in some of the best systems from the games of the last 20 years but make it very self-contained experience. Something like the original game but with an endless dungeon endgame that takes place under the cathedral with Diablo's full control exerted. Then, you start the process of remaking the series with a non-retarded story and get back to stealing and polishing all the stuff from the best ARPGs again.

The people who actually made games at Blizzard have long since left the building.

Your idea sounds great on merit, but your Powerpoint presentation needs to show the new pinheads how your idea of Diablo can make more money via microtransactions or subscriptions. Oh yeah, your single player game needs to be permanently online also.

The next great game will not come from Blizzard, nor EA, nor Ubisoft. It's going to come from some small gaming company that will make great games until they get bought out and turn into Blizzard, EA, and Ubisoft. Rinse/repeat.

Found 1st GA4 item of the season. A weapon with perfect rolls all the way down. It is only used in one niche build, oof. Should still bring decent cash, 10B or so.

I've been playing this on my steam deck. Got a rogue to Paragon ~110. Currently stalling out around level 45-50 in the artificer thing.

I've never really done much high level stuff in this game. What do I need to do to keep increasing my clear speed? I've got all the right offices on my equipment and have the ancestral legendary ones tempered. Have gems in them too, with pretty high level gems. I was progressing pretty quickly up until recently and now it seems like I'm not really getting any upgrades to push me in to torment 3

You have to follow build guides pretty closely in order to get the most out of your character. Maxroll or whatever site has beginner/mid/endgame builds to follow. It is pretty easy to walk yourself into a shit build....I've done it more often than not.

I can run you through some boss fights and gear fests Sunday if you want.

I just watched one of Empyrians poe 2 videos. It's looking like a masterfully crafted game with absolutely no jank, quality fights and visual clarity.

Oh wait, it was rife with alva spamming voice lines, character animation glitches, their first map insta crashing their party, another map crashing their party, being able to body block your party (lol, gl partying with randoms when they can hard grief you via collision), negative 10 visibility from all the skill effects, multiple talk of skills being nerfed, bosses getting 1shot, etc.

2 completely separate games but I have a feeling I'll get more enjoyment out of POE2 compared to the 1.5 seasons I did in D4.....to each their own. They are just games at the end of the day.
