Wasn't this the same thing POE ran into last league, or a couple leagues back? By stacking + mob hp so much they eventually hit that breakpoint and simply became -1

Yes and no.

That it is precisely 2^64 makes me think someone tried to protect against overflow with some rudimentary MAX() MIN() calculations. Or they enforce variable type usage everywhere despite damage not needing a sign. Thus someone thought 2^64 was the max an unsigned int could hold and didn't check where it was being assigned. It reeks of someone putting *some* thought into it, but obviously not enough.

Classic overflow is what you mentioned. Number becomes too big and overflows into some tiny negative number. Still embarrassing, but I'd argue not as bad as the above.

They deliberately wrote a Jesus analogue into their game and made him the "Vessel of Hatred". They made a Demon a sympathetic anti-hero "Mother", and the protagonist work with her remnant cult against the worse guys and against the False Church of the Angel, who forces his followers to commit blood rituals. They made the Angels the bad guys, indifferent to the suffering of humanity. I get trying to be edgy but this isn't that, this is someone with a hard on for sticking to Christians and Christianity, ie. more Marxist garbage. Completely fuck Blizzard and their stupid game.
