Need to figure out what this private town thing is? Probably not worth it if we only have 30. Unless we don't want 10 randoms.

Also IRC? Need to figure out something. I'm in a IRC with FoH for e-sim but there might be another?

As I was out scavenging, I was lamenting the fact of how crappy the zone markers were to tell other people in the town what items were in the zone to pick up. Maybe all of you guys remembered, but I had completely forgotten about using From Dusk Till Dawn to update your progress when you are out scavenging.

Also, who is planning to buy hero days? I'm going to buy a month when we start our town.

Thanks, got it all sorted out with your advice. Seems I have 5 hero days left still too.

Agonizing, try it, you have the same problem I did.

EDIT: Is there anywhere that explains the new shit that has happened since we all last played together? I have no idea what some of this crap is, or how useful it will be, best strategies to take, etc.

We will have to figure out what we want to build to get it started. I remember some but forgot most. Guess we see what happens.

Day one. Go one or two squares out of town and auto gather for about 16 hours. Return and build watchtower. then workshop. If you are lucky enough to get jarpan table, build building registry and architects study. After that it's all about searching and building up defenses. There is now something called Watchmen. No real risk. Each Watchman gets 10 defense to kill zombies during the impending attack. This number can be raised by equipping furniture ( which many items now have a defense value ). Try to only use items that are NOT needed for building or hunting. After the attack, these items will be broken. This recent season has also introduced the ghoul. Someone in town accidentally drinks some bad water or eats some bad meat. They become a ghoul. I'm not very sure of the particulars. I'm sure it's all on the wiki. And for the love of god. do not build portal lock in the first week. It is a waste of materials. Eventually it has upgrades that are nice, but only after everything else is built.

I'll send out coalitions on Saturday. If you can be here around day change on Sunday we will start the town immediately after the day change. 4 pm Central time? If you are a hero and can be here please let me know. I'll make you the leader of the coalition you will be in.

Going to need Slyminxy to edit the first page post with coalition groups and IRC info once this gets going if possible. I know I had the second post on the FoH thread and I edited it through the two seasons to keep people informed of groups, start time, and IRC.

It might make coordinating with other players a little easier.
