Will they use letter based acronyms to label each of these channels? Things like ABC or NBC, maybe CBS. Eventually there could be dozens of channels with things like the shopping network. religious channels or government watch channels. It would be amazing.....

HBO Max raising prices and lowering service. Have to pay more if you want the yearly price with 4k and stuff you are already getting.

People stay subscribed to these channels? I usually sub for a month then sub to a different channel the next month. Not like they are releasing enough content on one channel to keep your attention any longer than that. After 5 or 6 months you're back on the original service and there might be 2 or 3 new shows worth watching.

That works unless you have kids around that like watching the same thing over and over and over and over. And over. Again.

yeah my wifes corporate mobile plan (verizon) gives free disney+ but its mostly for our daughters who have their own kids now to rewatch Frozen and Cars every single goddamn day, but Disney is breaking family sharing sometime in June so it'll be interesting to see what happens then

disney+ is getting a new Tales of the Jedi animated show tomorrow but Bad Batch was pretty meh

I've been doing this for a little over a year now, and it's been working well for me. I'm saving a lot of money this way. Sure it means I don't watch stuff on day 1 anymore which can be annoying at times but it's simply not worth the money.

I'd rather be able to binge than watch when they do those weekly releases. Shogun was getting on my nerves with that crap. But that's one I had to subscribe for.

If there's a good show it's obviously going to skew my choices. I'll get Max back when house of the dragon starts for instance.
