Think I cleared everything before final act 1 assault..

noticing The Beast questline seems empty. Anyone do his? like Sebille "talk to someone in act 2." Lohse, talk to someone in driftwood" Beast:"dwarf in arena gave me a key". uh.? Wondering if I missed something, or nah, he has no real plot relevant reasons to be there. just get off the island/get a boat is his deal.

god damn stay away from franken-werewolf in A2. Gets buffed by his pack of wolves hitting for 500-1000 per swing and has 3-4 attacks per round.

Can't be teleported either, fuuuuuck

There are so many hard fights in Act 2. I actually got this guy first try, kept him perma stunned once I bursted through his armor, +700% damage doesn't do much when he is knocked down all the time :D The wolves themselves aren't very threatening. The fucking Alice Alisceon fight though.....ugh... That one took 3 or 4 tries to figure out a good setup before engaging. The Elven elemental trial took 3 attempts as well. Act 2 really steps it up difficulty-wise

As for anyone who asked about replayability, it depends on how much of *everything* you want to see. There are so many ways to do everything that I keep saying to myself, "But what if I killed this person, or betrayed this person, or sided with this faction, or talked my way through this situation...". There are so many ways to resolve things in this game, that plus 10 different skill trees makes for at least two playthroughs to try and see it all. I have no Polymorph/Fire/Air/Water skills in my party, plus I don't have Lohse or Beast so I don't know anything about their stories either. I hope I remember everything for my second go around.

No clue how you broke that one. The quest literally goes stingtail (lizard with oranges) is the first step in Sebille's quest, he directs you to Griff who you can either persuade or kill and then eat the body part he drops to link to the next step. So assuming you had Sebille in your party when you interacted with Stingtail then either the game is straight bugged or you didn't eat Griff's body part after fighting him.

She wasn't in my party when I first talked to Stingtail because the Red Prince needed to talk to him. I added her to my party after getting Red Prince's quest update, talked to Stingtail again with her and she killed him, then told me to talk to Griff, who was already dead. Eating his body does nothing to update the quest.

Early spoiler for sebille's quest

I never killed Griff for sebille. I was never directed to. She wanted to talk to him after killing stingtail, but I let her and it was peaceful. Like, the whole thing was out of my hands.

yeah, it seems amusing how many people kill Griff for, seemingly no real reason. I didn't.

Think I killed him because after returning his drug laced fruit, I either wanted to keep it for myself or for him to free the chick in the cage. Persuasion fail! Time to die dude

Question about act 2:
I'm not there yet, but I have heard you get a boat where you can freely respec. I am an obsessive hoarder in games and I would like to know if there is eventually a chest, perhaps on that boat, where I can store items. There's a lot of shit I'm hauling and I'm only halfway through act 1, I think.

So playing Co-op with a buddy, double lone wolf. This might be the most fun I've had in a long time. Buddy is doing the warfare/necro/poly build so he is just everywhere in fights destroying people. Meanwhile I'm rolling with the shield toss/reactive armor summoner build and dipping everywhere for utility. Need a lock picked, a guy ported, or your armor/mr restored? I got that. Someone already mentioned it in this thread I believe but I'm sitting at 500 health and 200 armor/mr at level seven so basically untouchable on any fight we've gone through. Playing on tactician and between my friends damage and level ten summoning it seems like kind of a steamroll so far.

Just did the Voidwoken/pirate fight on the east side of the island and my Incarnate soloed the boss there. Was laughing pretty hard

There's a storage chest yea, works just like the first game with unlimited storage. There's an inventory option on right click to send items to the storage chest, presumably from anywhere? But it never works for me

- Yes to respecs and storage chest and you can always bring chests to the ship if you desire more hoarding.

The summons are starting to drop off pretty hard for me at L14 in Act 2 tact. I have them maxed out a 20 skill points and they are basically there to soak damage for a round while I gather up all the NPCs to reactive armor bomb on both my characters.

Might respec both of my characters out of summoning completely though soon.

Thanks! I'm having a lot of fun with this game but it triggers my OCD hard.

Tell me about it man. My storage chest has like 200 poisoned fish in currently for no actual useful reason, but I'll be damned if I throw them away.

I didn't kill Griff for no reason, and it wasn't for Sebille either.

Do any of you have Red Prince and Sebille in your group? Because one of them has to talk to Stingtail and the other will kill him right off the bat. The only way to do both is to not have Sebille in your group until after Red Prince has talked to him. I killed Griff because I needed Stingtail alive for Red Prince to talk to, not because Sebille asked me to or killed him herself.

Like I said, it shouldn't be that damn easy to break an origin quest.

If you talk to Stingtail as Sebille instead of as your player avatar, there is is an option to torture Stingtail until he gives you the info you need instead of killing him.

If you have both Red Prince and Sebille, Red Prince goes first. At least did for me. And as Kriptini said, quite a lot of NPCs react differently and give different options based on which character talks to them.

Man I killed Griff just because I'm a monster that kills almost everyone for xp and loot. This game makes me do bad things

You need to ignore all the small wolves and just focus on breaking the abominations armor or magic armor. Once either is down (they were about the same strength for me) you can just chain CC him with whatever you have while all the small wolves waste all their turns buffing him uselessly. Knockdown/sleep/chicken/atrophy all landed for me once he defenses were down. Take as long as you need to, as the one grey wolf doesn't do much damage and if the abomination ever gets a turn he'll kill a few people for sure with all the buffs on.

you can also use bless to remove the wolf buffs. He kicked my ass once before I reloaded and ran away to level up some more before I try him again. That fucking Scarecrow witch is another bitch. She wiped out half my party in her opening turn.

I'm crippled at character creation, want to go so many ways at once (tank, 2hander, rogue, bows, cleric) Want to do these necro/geo melee builds? But also wanting to make sure I can lockpick and yknow unlock content like other dude was saying. Then I find myself wanting to pump wits for those stats but have no idea if weapons have str requirements, what stats actually matter more. (In some games consitution adds fairly negligible total health even when focused)

Also no ones even mentioned playing metamorph once? Not popular?

Cant stand red princes voice, honestly dont like most of the characters based on the select screen. Elves too ugly/wierd. Ifan I like best but even then I dont get, ok lose interest in war etc, but I must kill the kings son? Dick move.

Fane almost seems most interesting but kinda loathe to try undead as a novice and I hear needing to remember to constantly keep his mask on?

One thought is trying to do like my D&D chars. Warrior/rogue hybrid. Not sure if as OP, or even possible. (Do skills automatically base themselves on your highest stat or for example scoundrel skills always based on finese due to either class or just themselves? Thought you guys had an example where like Necro used strength on an inquisitor.
