Give Tuco negs to offset the injustice he paid to Christoph Waltz.I mis-remembered his name as Christopher. I apologize for the mistake and will refer to his name as Christoph from now on.
MEH!Nice to see Waltz get the Best Supporting Actor nomination again. Tough competition with Philip Seymour Hoffman and Tommy Lee Jones in the mix though.
That's exactly what it was. Thought it was one of the better scenes in the movie, especially the arguing over the woman who cut the holes. It was a fun little parody along the lines of Monty python or Mel Brooks making commentary on future man with scenes in the past long before such ever actually existed.
I was okay with it. I loved the Django song though.i think the only thing i didn't like about the movie was the modern rap
Gangs of New York is one of the best movies ever made.I still think his playing of bill the butcher is the best character in any movie, period.
Daniel Day LewisDiCaprio is #2 or #3 on my list of worlds best male actors. DDL is #1. I still think his playing of bill the butcher is the best character in any movie, period.
I sort of agree. I bet Waltz has as much dialog as Fox, Dicaprio, and Jackson put together in this movie. As far as Oscar shit, it sort of annoys me that Waltz is only considered a supporting actor in this. I understand that Foxx is technically the main role/actor, but that movie is nothing without Waltz's character. I get why it is categorized that way, but it still annoys me.
You know some history some others didn't so let's make sure we really drive our point home on this one!Good God. It is entirely obvious that they were not the KKK. He was parodying the future practices of the KKK using a band of Southern white raiders. At no point did they identify themselves as the fucking KKK. I can't believe this is even up for discussion. It was a fun little parody along the lines of Monty python or Mel Brooks making commentary on future man with scenes in the past long before such ever actually existed.
