I worked in a theater back in high school that used the popcorn in big plastic bags. Let me attest that you are usually better off with such popcorn primarily because it's all popped by a guy who does that every day and knows what the hell he's doing. I've had far too much terrible popcorn that was half burned by some teenage dudebro who wasn't paying attention.

Bleh no way, at least around here. The second the "beeping" comes from the popper, there is always someone rushing over to tip it so all the popcorn goodness can spill out.

On the topic of The Doctor, do they have a presence at Comic-Con this year? I haven't heard anything.

They were still actively filming the finale up through this past week I believe and will only take a short break before the xmas special. They did not seem to have any significant comic-con presence.

John Barrowman posted a pic with Cumberbatch at CC. So I thought it was odd Moffat wasn't there for Sherlock. Didn't realize they were filming the last block now. Makes sense.

We have so much to talk about after the first ep airs, especially the final 90 seconds. Le sigh. Hate waiting.

Watched one of the leaked episodes, even without the CGI I just wasn't getting hooked like I did with 11th Hour or even Tennant's initial run. Something is just off, waiting to see the next episode before I make a complete judgement but for the intro it's just strange.

Damn. I haven't been following Dr.Who for a long, long time. Seems to be that this Peter Capaldi is an excellent choice as Doc, and his companion...wow.

Well damn I liked Clara... And she is smoking hot. As far as new companions go I guess it depends on where we go in this season. A lot can change in 13 episodes. Unless its River Song I don't want to see a romantic companion. Would like to see another girl though. Looking forward to Saturday.

An article I read stated that her leaving makes her one of the longest standing companions in the history of the series. Was she really around longer than most or was this article straight up over exaggerating? It feels to me like she had one of the shortest companion runs, honestly.
