Edit: I killed her 5 times <10 minute mark and then her and her friend Omni rage quit. Then again that's not even required. Just employ the use of wards. If you want to be a real dick, just plop one down on the very edge of the ancient camp as the ancient farming requires her to place a ward.

Edit2: What I'm trying to say is this isn't a good strat and it's part of the reason why Medusa gets a bad name. This and bad players that think it's a good idea to farm Linkens first on her. You're giving her a bad name and it hurts me.

I say I enjoy playing Medusa by ancient stacking and preface it by saying "I KNOW IT WONT WORK OUTSIDE THE LOW BRACKET"

Sutekh comes in and says "IT WONT WORK IN A HIGH BRACKET AND YOU NEED WARDS"

I then point out along with Simas that I already said it won't work outside low, so I don't know why Sutekh is going on about it.

That stuff about giving Medusa a bad name was just pure lol nerd talk, hence the caps

I was discussing the hero and how to play her viably in games where your competition isn't the typical mouth breather.
I was saying you use the wards to counter Medusa farming the camp.
People instantly want to quit the game when Medusa is picked because 99/100 times players fail with her.
You sound like a really insecure guy and for that I pity you.

The que is really fucking annoying. Keep getting a game only to have someone not accept and then it's another 10 minutes. Fuck this shit

hah just came back and it's still going...It caps out at 99:00 tho eventho it says its still searching. Probably a bug of sorts, first time this has happened...longest ive had to wait prior was 14~ mins.

I've gotten to 16ish minutes watching a tournament match before. I just had to drop the queue and queue again; it found a game within 4 minutes after requeuing. It's likely just a bug, as you suspected.

Compendium matchmaking is in, pretty fun but if you have someone on your team who never played that hero, you are at a bit of a disadvantage. Since everyone playing it has compendium, you get 200+BP per game

What heroes does it pick? Is it AR? Or does it pick heroes based on what got picked during the qualifiers?

Yeah, you get heroes picked for you based on the match, so it's effectively AP with 5 heroes. The match is supposed to change weekly.
