30 Minutes until tickets go on sale in case anyone needs a reminder. It looks like there is a limit of 5. Will be trying to buy at least 3 (one for me and two extra, either wife or someone who couldn't get one) unless someone else needs one and absolutely won't have a chance today. And you seem like a trustworthy person, and are not named Tuco.

I wasn't able and I don't know a single person that was able to get tix for TI. Fucking Ticketmaster is a piece of shit.

I got 5 at the 10pm window. Used my cell phone Tickmaster app and not the shit webpage.

edit: unfortunately they're all spoken for btw, was going to get extra for board people, but a few of us were all trying at the same time and opted to try for 5 to cover the group. If anyone drops out though will let you know

May I ask why you guys are going? Like, what's the most appealing thing? Going to the secret shop or just to really watch games and look at the artists panels and stuff?

I'm really curious, not trolling.

All of the above ? It's one of the biggest esport events of the year, I know if I had the money and time, I'd definitely want to go too. So far the closest dota event was around 500km :< But at least I got to see TI1 in Cologne.

Yeah, all of the above. It is just like any other college football game, concert, or other entertainment event that I've got enough interest in to attend. Additionally the opportunity for fellowship, to meet people I've been playing with this last year, never been to Seattle.

I just stopped playing because of one reason and one reason alone.

Pudge.

That fucking hero is the bane of my existence, and when I mean the bane of my existence I mean there's always someone who picks it on my team and doesn't know how to play it and fucks everything up. And it's like they think they'r even remotely good.

I don't play anymore because of this, I wish I could play a Pudgeless gam, and not deal with the Captains mode bullshit.

Random draft ?

Right now pudge is pretty strong as a support or offlane thanks to the hook changes and support pudge has way more room for error, but you can't do the classic solo roaming ganks.

That Secret vs Alliance game was exactly what was happening to Na'vi before Puppey left that team. Just get skull raped when Puppey takes his afk jungle heroes.

Haven't been watching much Dota since DAC. Secret don't seem as scary since DAC, or am I out of the loop?

They have been playing very few games, sure dropping some here and there, but so far they looked rather convincing and they qualified for Summit 3 as first, dismantling Alliance rather handily in the process. It's not 15-0 DAC groupstages, but they still deliver with their trademark style of steadily assimilating gold from the whole map with very farmed supports. I mean EG just came pretty close to not qualifying for Summit against NoT.

G1 was steady decline with pickoffs left and right until not even troll with empower couldn't save them, no matter how casters tried to make it exciting. G2 was the definition of Puppey draft, either it was going to be amazing or fail horribly. Running a lineup of enigma/tide/brew/sf/lion vs wisp/tiny takes some courage. Still, they played pretty poorly overall, with Arteezy getting caught left and right and S4 shut down pretty badly in both games. I know Navi fanboys are waiting for them to falter to catch the bandwagon before it leaves the station, but it's pretty obvious where the problem was, when Navi fields a new roster every week or two...

Just yesterday I had somebody arguing with me that C9 is better than Secret because they were winning before they threw their games at DAC.

DKphobos left Navi. The team is very unstable right now. They either need to blow it all up or get their shit together. With TI5 only months away, a showing at TI5 looks unlikely. Although maybe Valve would fly Dendi out as a guest or something ;p

Navi is complete shit, you know its bad when everyone is bailing and doing way better on teams which were never as good (fng, dkphobos).

They lack leadership and good drafting, and Na'vi isnt so superior in talent these days that they could bail Xboct out on idiotic dives. Hes still an amazing player when it comes to always finding farm, but adding individually skilled players like Vanskor means nothing without someone orchestrating drafts and game decisions. They do shit all the time where xboct will just yolo to tier 3 towers early in the game or, will have teamfights where half fight and half back etc.

Edit: well just after posting this, funn1k and artstyle seem to be back? Maybe artstyle will help with their drafting, and he knows how to play with them already.

Even though that game wasn't always pretty, you could tell Na'vi actually had someone making calls.

I missed that, been watching Dream League and seeing some of these other teams like Goomba and London Conspiracy.
