I think they were scared of the NS roaming on Lina if she were mid. I was wondering during the draft if they were going to go Silencer carry as a last pick, would have wrecked the entire CDEC lineup.

Yeah, Spectre is weird hero this patch, since it's so fighting oriented and unless they do that weird Crimson Guard build, but then she's got no farming tools.

Purge can't help but explain mechanics and try to explain things to the average viewer, it's his thing and I think he's really good at it. It comes off as remedial and obvious but it is on purpose.

Newbee been dumpster for a long time. This is more about Dota - The Moba with upsets that actually happen.

As much as i fucking hate playing with peruvians... It was cool that they actually showed emotion when they won. I'd rather watch that than the joke of a celebration when EG won TI (on drugs?).

Also, of all people, the ragey Peruvian mid is the only one that builds Alch the correct way imo.

Was it really an upset? To me the only team in an unexpected place is Mineski/EHome.

Eh, most teams don't build him as a traditional fighting carry anymore because he sucks at it. It worked this game because Newbee had no burst other than Gyro nukes.
