The thing that regularly enrages me with DOTA2 and Steam in general... getting told the game client is out of date, exiting waiting a while restart game and still being out of date. How bloody hard is it to have a button that forces a check.

Black Hole being pure damage piercing spell immunity is nice even if the damage got slightly nerfed.

That's the thing, if you factor in standard 25% magic resist, it actually got buffed unless you are blackholing with a veil or a visage with nothing in gravekeeper's cloak.

Yeah, it wasn't official, but most of the pros spoiled it around the secret announcement. r/dota2 is generally better source for any news that aren't official announcements, since all the other sites get their info from there or from the twitter feeds

I'm so confused with the ESL scheduling. jD had the countdown to still 16 hrs from now but group stage matches are already happening. Missed a ton of stuff it seems.

This seems to be so true.... that first game against liquid blew my mind. They play really well then pissed it all away with a couple of bad decisions... also how the hell did s4 get solo'd twice in the midlane (speaking of g1 and g2) then they picked that drow in g2... Jesus there was a jug lifestealer and even the morph that the panel was recommending. .. it seems like every tournament recently somebody new decides to play like shit. With maybe the exception of egm.

Alliance also picked Jakiro/KotL/Puck one game, so that they could try and pull off an incredily stupid cheese combo, and got their shit pushed in for it. Dream Coil + Blinding Light + Macropyre is hilarious and all...but come onnnnnnn
