Yeah pretty sure they are only open for a very brief window, but that's likely due to the small amount of time between the Open Quals and the Regional Quals. Maybe they could have opened them as soon as EG and Secret qualified since that's probably all anyone was waiting for but there were / are still a couple of dark horses in the Open Quals #2.
Hmm 6 hours. I don't even think the Americas #2 will be finished in 6 hours. So it'd be hard to pick one of them as Top 3 just having to guess who wins it. Not like any of them would probably take the place of EG, DC, or CoL in the top 3.

Because there was this huge Reddit thread about racism and misogyny because someone insulted her about constantly talking about her girlfriend. The whole thing devolved in to nonsense because she's actually just a bad caster, but she grinds that shit out and it's hard not to respect the amount of work she puts in. Too bad it isn't improving anything.

As for Mirana, her aghs is amazing, but she is still a mid-game hero that becomes pretty worthless late game.

I have no authority to speak on this b/c I'm terrible at dota, but I think Mirana could be a really good 4? You can get wards, do support things, go midas, and eventually get an Aghs. Eventually not even being that late. Then your farm is so accelerated and assuming you aren't teamed with an AM or Naga, someone who eats all the jungle and lanes, you just catapult. Moonlight Shadow is great, double Starfall is a ton of damage, and early arrows don't require levels or items.
I feel like she has a place for sure and if you're actually good with her everything just gets amplified with the free stuff.

4 position mirana has to land a lot of arrows, the other argument is that 4200 gold is potentially 2 nice support items almost. Add in midas, you might not have a force, or a cape, or anything. She definitely is a hero though you can pick as a "scaling" support that can transition into potentially something dangerous. Kind of like Jungle doom, He has to disrupt lanes enough at high tier play and if he does or if you gain map control he can eat of farm around the map in a scaling way as an extra psuedo core. Without a hero combination to land a lot of arrows in a more guaranteed way, no matter how good you are, some games your arrows will just miss at a high enough volume that its definitely a struggle to make her have a substantial impact.

Yeah but even if you aren't landing arrows and your lanes are doing well, you can still jungle with arrows b/c it insta kills the creep. It isn't the optimum, but she does have a good kit to pull it off. But yeah, if you're doing that in a pro game and not a pub, you're probably relying on hitting the arrows and not afk jungling like a LC.
