I wonder how much is due to teams believing scrims are pointless and at the same time aren't participating in tournaments.
Couple years ago it was a thing before they nerfed his stun to not gain strength in the air. I imagine they wanted him to function like a 4 naga (which was banned I think?) that transitions into carry but they never seemed to bother trying to make space. Plus he only had 1 point in greed by 10?

Yeah, you pick him for the stun and -armor, which is like poor man's slardar, but then they had Puck, BM, Lock and Jugg, which is a lineup that doesn't really do all that much physical damage. With the build you go as support alchemist, greed is basically for the occasional bounty rune, since you can only max at lvl 10+, which is pretty late and you don't exactly scale without items like Naga.
Basically if you see NA picking something nobody else does, you have about 75% chance it's bad.
I don't see the point to alch as a support unless you're going to abuse greed somehow, or maybe some massive neg armour strat. Also compared to Slardar he's got shit armour and lacks mobility.
Nothing against Complexity but I would like to see Infamous win, they seem like better players but a worse team.

His stun is really strong at low level if you charge it, he's pretty tanky for a support and his armor reduction is a super large aoe. Also can farm some items, and then feed his support money back into your cores with aghs upgrades. But I think no one plays alch support anymore cause they changed a bunch of shit on his stun and medallion(I think it does way less damage than it used to? forgot what the changes were). Hell no one gets medallion anymore either.
But yeah slardar is way better in general nowadays, cause Icefrog buffed sprint over and over so it stopped being such fucking garbage. It's so good now it gives him the necessary mobility to gank shit before he gets a blink and what not and the rest of the hero was always very solid.
There's still a bunch of forgotten strats though imo that are probably still viable. Shit like Tuskar I think is still quite possibly very good but no one bothers with him anymore, but the blocks in choke points and snowball saves are still stupidly strong. The hero is kinda like a defensive support and an offensive support mixed in one hero. Just kinda does no damage anymore I think is the issue and teams seem to favor specialized heroes instead so if they want defensive they'll get SD or dazzle or oracle or whatever and if they want offensive they'll get slardar or venge and so on.

Tusk is basically worse Kunkka right now, however he has to get near to unload and the ship is crazy when you land it, it's just really hard to notice. The initiation range is like twice as big eventually too, but you still see Tusk here and there, I think Liquid picked him once or twice in the dreamleague.

Bulldog is my favorite streamer. He just fucking kills me. BSJ is my guilty pleasure. Love watching him make shitty plays and blame his teammates. I love to watch him fail. Other then him I watch merlini, waga, sumail, RTZ, blitz has a great stream when he does, and Broxy is a lesser know streamer that mains techies that I watch from time to time.
