I'm actually frustrated they don't release invites via random game rewards. I wouldn't mind watching a few games to see where "the correct way to play" a hero comes from, but not paying for it. :/I have 12 invites dont buy them just pm if you need one
Most games are stomps because pubs give up immediately when they get behind. If they even try to win, they are terrible at playing from behind. It doesn't matter how balanced the teams are from the get go; A few lucky breaks in the first 10 minutes, and now one team is 5 kills and a tower in the lead. At that point the losing team has to dosomethingto turn the tide, but pubs rarely ever do. They feel underfarmed, so they stay in the same lanes they lost in the first place, but now with a significant gold/xp disadvantage, which leads to more deaths. They stop buying wards, because they suddenly feel so poor. More deaths. Etc etc.I only que solo and what he said is also my experience. Most games are stomps one way or another. 500+ games so far

Pubs are almost never capable of stalling/stopping the snowball effect. That's why most games are "stomps". It has nothing to do with matchmaking.
Flip that around on ya: yes Na'Vi isn't practicing as much and not face-rolling, but the quality of teams has increased SO much in the last 12 months that it's enjoyable to watch just about everyone and everyone can win, which is a good thing. Na'Vi, mTw, Empire, NTH, SH, Liquid, VP, Mouz (and all the Asian teams I can't remember, but they're good too). I love where the competitive scene is going. You can never count out Navi, against anyone, but you can never count on them winning either. I heard that Dendi was on vacation and that they aren't practicing at all and their game definitely looks like it. You give away Wisp twice to VP, who have probably second best Wisp after Empire ?
That's true (you forgot nth/EG/Fnatic.EUFlip that around on ya: yes Na'Vi isn't practicing as much and not face-rolling, but the quality of teams has increased SO much in the last 12 months that it's enjoyable to watch just about everyone and everyone can win, which is a good thing. Haha, yeah I definitely forgot a few teams; also a plus on the hero pool. It got real boring seeing only Tide, AM, Morph, NP every game. That's true (you forgot nth/EG/Fnatic.EU) and I feel like the number of viable heroes has also drastically increased, you can see just about any competitive hero picked here and there, even if the first 2-3 stay the same.![]()
pretty funny... though it will be nice to be able to get detailed statistics againWEBAPI
- Added Captain's Mode Picks and Bans.
- Added ability upgrade order and times to each player.
- Added inventory for additional units (Lone Druid's Spirit Bear).
- Added an API for getting match details in the order they were recorded.
I've kind of been planning on heading to Seattle for TI3 if my money situation is right at the time.Haha, yeah I definitely forgot a few teams; also a plus on the hero pool. It got real boring seeing only Tide, AM, Morph, NP every game.
Things go how I want this year and I'm taking my brother to DreamHack Winter. That venue is insane and it's super cheap for the multi-day, all access 24 hour pass (flights from California not so cheap).
International would be awesome as well and certainly much more reasonable on the cost scale than flying to whereeverthefuck Scandinavia. But, what I like about Dreamhack is the sheer size of it and how many other games there are.I've kind of been planning on heading to Seattle for TI3 if my money situation is right at the time.
Lol at casually enjoying this game lol.God im on one of those awful losing streaks. I have come to the conclusion this game isn't about wins or losses, you just have to look at your game play and hope its progressing. Really difficult to casually enjoy this game anymore.
I'm not nearly as good as some of the players here, but I've found I get the most wins when I choose a character I know I can play in a way that will have a substantial effect on the game regardless of what my teammates do. It seems really simple, but I've found it helps me out of slumps. For me, Rhasta is one of those. I can be pretty sure I'm going to take some early towers, I'm going to D, and/or I'm going to hit some "big plays" in a team fight. I'm not going to miss a disable. That's true if I get no last hits, if my teammates pick 4 carries and so on. There are a bunch of other dudes (which I enjoy playing more) that I'll often effect the game with, but it tends to be closer to a 50/50 thing.God im on one of those awful losing streaks.
