Here's an idea, Tuco. How's about renaming the science thread to "The Tuco approved science topics thread" instead, since you seem to think everything from evolution to genetics to climatology aren't science.

And no, setting up a small colony of a few hundred people on Mars is probably quite a bit easier than attempting to MOVE VAST QUANTITIES OF THE EARTH'S ARABLE SOIL to BOG LADEN FORM TAIGA in order to produce enough agricultural crops to support even a FRACTION OF A PERCENT of the current world's population, particularly if we are doing the former in a time when society exists and is relatively stable and able to send enough supplies to Mars to survive, versus a time when society is in total flux as a result of the collapse of all the world's major ecological biomes following a vast and catastrophic climatic collapse.
