The big one will be the bird farm camp. Lot of people miking the shit out of that one.
But usually they mostly tackle PvP issues, which means the Death/Madness spam and similar stuff will get nerfed hard. I expect the super laser mage one shot stuff to be next, since it trivializes any boss with a long warmup (like most of them) start of battle and its not that hard to gather the major parts of the combo. I honestly don't care if people want to cheese, as I have zero interest in PvP. This is one of the best coop action RPG experiences ever to exist and it would be nice if they focused on that part of it.

You guys are so weird. Ashes and Summons were both put into the game as tools for you to utilize. There are SOOO many different spirits and ashes that you can tailor to your own playstyle.

I guess I can kind of understand someone wanting to beat the game "by themselves" so not using summons... but not using ashes of war? What? Or are you just grandstanding about not using ashes while you use a weapon that has it's own special and literally can't use ashes?

I didn’t use ashes of war for a really long time cause I have no idea what they do and it looks like you can only use them once? I found one on a weapon I liked, duplicated that ash, then stuck it on a weapon I liked.

Do they not get consumed when you use them? If not then yeah I missed out on trying all these skills. I have a bunch but have only seen a dozen or so in action on weapons I’ve found. I’ve only been impressed by a few, but like I said I’ve only tried a fraction of them.

They don't get consumed, they're more like applied to the weapon, and it can be taken off and re applied as many times as you want. You can only apply it to one weapon, and you duplicated them if you want the same ashe on two different weapons. Once applied they're just like any skill/spell that uses FP

Went to farm some rune arcs from rats in the Earth cave, with 110 discovery and the silver fowl buff. 45 minutes later and I had like...3. I wanted to get to 5 or 10 but I couldn't stand it anymore and quit out. I thought rats dropped them like candy, what gives?

On the flipside I don't really need rune arcs at this point since the game is beaten, and I'm sure I can get a ton more in NG+. If I'm gonna farm anything it should be exp, and tracking down more sacred tears and memory stones.

The tears are just laying around the churches, easy to find. The memory stones are in the spire like buildings, the ones that are closed off with a white glowing door. Most of them require solving a simple little puzzle to open, or bypass by launching to the top on a horse jump air lift.

The ashes are strange due to shields and offhands getting priority. You can add the noskill ashes to offhand shield and lose the parry/effect and that lets mainhand Ashes come online. or 2 hand and use ability.

Hate stupid controller port bullshit.

Well, if you had both weapons equipped, you could use the main hand art by default and if you wanted to use the off hand art hold triangle/y/pouch inventory and press LB/the off hand attack button to switch to your offhand 2handed stance and then use that art.

It's not ideal but it's fast enough to switch to if you have a lull in the action.

Holding pouch inventory and pressing either main hand or off hand attack will switch to that weapon in two hand stance.

You can do this with shields to gain access to their bash attack to push enemies off ledges ect.

It's also helpful to switch to your offhand while mounted to cast a spell/use a offand bow ect.

Still discovering new stuff with this game. Was doing the bird farm and two times got 66k runes from a single bird (with golden scarab). At night sometimes enemies will randomly have glowing eyes and will give additional bonus runes.

Yeah if they have glowing eyes it’s 5x normal runes. Farming things at night is the way to go.
