Probably patched before launch. All the "Ashes of War" were pretty OP in comparison to their low FP cost and non-existent cooldown during the network test.

Looking forward to it yeah. I don’t really get excited about anything, too grumpy. I have only seen a few minutes of video showing the basic gameplay. I don’t really get into watching tons of gameplay videos on anything really. For something like this I’m not sure why anyone would want to spoil shit, that’s a big part of the fun for me. Going in blind and getting surprised, wrecked, figuring out wtf I’m supposed to be doing on my own. If I get too stuck or too confused I could see looking shit up.

I've only watched the initial Vaati network test beta thing, otherwise seen almost no videos and read almost nothing. Excited about that and looking forward to it.

Yeah, for me a big part of the fun of Dark Souls was treating it as a puzzle. Solving the puzzle by reading the solution online takes away a lot of the fun.

But then after dying to some bullshit 10x in a row I'll probably googling "elden ring broken builds" and "elden ring cheatengine memory mappings".

Hah. I look up the specific mob I’m having problems with first. Usually it’s just me not noticing something. I don’t do broken builds on purpose on the first play through, kills the spirit of these games.
