I played in closed beta and basically said "That was really good, I'll wait for them to be finished."

I've watched people play as recently as last week, but this is a thing where the game-hungry will spoil themself from a real treat if they can't just wait a little bit. I saw their roadmap and they've got shit like base defense raids coming which is VERY nice for these games for longevity. Like I said, it's not bad, it's just not done. Wait for the finished product or you'll lose out on the feeling of playing a good, complete game for once rather than 1/2 a good game in early/access beta like we've accustomed ourselves to.

I saw the roadmap for 2025 and there's some great stuff coming that would definitely spice it up. Last I played there wasn't even a first boss, quests weren't completeable by more than one person, and chests were opened 1 time only by 1 person. All that has changed, which is why I recommend waiting a bit if you haven't played at all because I think it will truly be a great product when fully launched.

not actively. I logged in and checked out the LAST update. did not check out this most recent one.

seems to be progressing nicely. but due to the pregen world, I do think holding off for the finished thing is probably a better idea.

they do keep having twitch drops for each update btw. current one is active till the 11th.

Yeah, like I said, I think it's looking great, but nothing is randomly generated so if you've done it once you're going to do it again. I'd want as much mystery and surprise as possible for when I actually do play.

I'm sure they'll get some random seeding tech eventually, but for their story purposes and stuff it doesn't make sense.
