If people can tolerate wearing the stupid fucking 3d glasses to see a movie, i'm sure they'd wear the occulus rift for all of the potential awesomeness it provides. Watching movies with the rift is one of it's uses i'm most interested in. Its going to be the next big advancement in everything good. People are talking about 4k monitors..this thing, even at 1080p, is going to blow that and any IMAX experience away. The only question is, how long until we can tolerate using it without puking.

Truly is a king of beers. Easily in my top 3. I've been meaning to try it with Wells Banana Bread beer. I hear it's pretty good. I just picked up 2 bombers of Good Gourd today at the Cigar City tasting room on my way home from work. I may or may not drink one this weekend. I will def be aging one a few months at least though.
This was like 4 pages ago, as I'm still on 228 but I know for sure Trion, Carbine and SOE devs are here in various incarnations whether lurking or posting.
I can tell you that you that there are around 4000-5000 active posters give or take 500 or so which doesn't count for all the unregistered viewers which are in the 10s of thousands at the least.

Also, the unregistered thing is probably a matter of search engines and links from other gaming communities. I've googled certain topics and posts from this board were in the top 3 results.

From the Smed quotes over the past few months to mmorpg.com giving it the "it was the best thing we saw at E3 behind closed doors" , this really is setting up to be possibly awesome or an even bigger let down than SWTOR.
Taking the latter , if it was truly a wtf is this shit (not just a letdown in specific areas , but overall horrid product) , would that be the end for Smed and SOE for the future or could they come back after this much hype and failing ?

There really isn't much on Thursday though I plan to embarrass myself at the Legends of Norrath tournament. Don't have a tenth of the cards needed for a good deck. But yes I was surprised when they moved eqn to the 2nd back in May.
