Ut is shotgunning like a mother fucker. Do you work as a tarot card reader/psychic in real life? Because you're using a lot of those tricks. Essentially drawing on track records to predict most likely outcomes, while vaguely hinting at alternate outcomes in order to leave an out--but all the while building your foundation on something that's true either way: At 1pm, good or bad, this thread will go "nuts".

I mean, maybe you know something, but your technique seems essentially what bullshitters do (But I'll admit, it's amazing how close those lines cross, between knowledge and bullshit). Dragen, will you shed some light on it all for us? Not any info, just if the PM was legit.

Still waiting on my PM from him. I think a few of us having the info will keep things legit. I've asked him before I got nothing. Not that I think he lies but he's never told me anything on EQN..:-(

I have been told by someone in the know his info was correct but outdated in regards to possibly the server ruleset. So who knows how accuate the info is.

It won't really matter - he's already got his "back door way out". Even if we all love what we hear, he'll just keep on his "everything sucks forever" rant with "YEAH BUT WAIT UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY PLAY IT, IT'S GARBAGE".

Not to say that'd end up being wrong, but still. It's all pointless anti-hype. He's the yang to SOE's hype yin. None of us will know until it's in our hands. I'd bet most of us will play for at least a month regardless.

I think the ideas in this game are finally an advancement to this genre, but SOE's track record is just not very good and thus their execution will probably leave a lot to be desired. Hopefully, what some of us know already about this game gets confirmed and we can all go back to bitching and moaning about how things actually are, instead of just guessing.

Yeah, he made sure to throw in the "it might sound good...........but what I'm complaining about is execution!". He's built himself a little web of back doors, on top of, essentially the best bet--which is that SoE will royally fuck up, because lets face it, their track record is awful.
