Have you ever been to an official video game fan-gathering before? Last night was pretty par the course.

I went to Blizzcon in 2008 and it was just as bad. I consider myself pretty nerdy, and I have NEVER felt so out of place in my entire life. I just ended up standing in line to play SC2 and Diablo 3 over and over, and didn't even return for the last day. Point is, yes last night was cheesy as fuck - but really, it's right up the alley for the elite nerds who go to these events.

It would have been a bit better if they hired a professional comedian or speaker, but I can somewhat appreciate that they did it all in-house. B+ for effort.

Looks pretty terrible to me. After 2003-2004 I always felt unrealistic graphics and fluid animation always made the game for me. Maybe that's why I was so drawn to WoW. I look at all these games now and just don't see anything appealing when they go opposite of that route.
