I'm going to go play FFXIV for awhile and see if some sense rises out of the garbage they're creating. Maybe by Christmas we'll have something that we can either discuss or discard. Some of the stuff SoE is posting and the houseboat followers is just ridiculous.

I emailed Powah and offered to write an OpEd on EQN lore for eqn. So we'll see. I'm okay with not getting EQ3 anytime soon, I'm not okay with EQN being released with the bastardized lore.

I really want to know SOE's thought process:

-We want four elemental gods. Check.
-We have four elemental gods in EQ1. Check.
-Let's not use any of them, invent 3 new ones and retask Prexus.

Tried FFXIV and didn't hate it, but just couldn't get past the moogles are wtf they are. Enjoy.

Convo didn't remove it. The Reddit mods are basically an arm of SOE PR. Anything remotely negative will get shitcanned.

And I do miss the "soft" FV, so much hotter than her later renditions- I think Velious was the last box art she was hot in.

And they did some awesomeness with the EQ2 Iksar models, they are insanely good imo...so yeah, if they make them into lezzardgnomes...WTF?!!?!!

Nah, EQ1 original Iksar model is the best. The EQ2 one looks like a goomba from the Mario Bros. movie: massive body, tiny head. You've gotta really tweak the model to make it look decent.

Yep. The mods aren't bothering with downvoting anymore - they're just removing threads left and right. Georgeson probably thinks everything is fine in EQfan land based on reddit.
