My issue is that when I don't log into an mmo every day, I often just quit. That's been the pattern for a really long time. I haven't been a one game andy in a really, really long time. Not that I need EQ to be my only game, but yeah I usually don't log back in if I don't log in every day. Really I'm just a casual gamer these days.

I just don't understand how a bunch of people made it past classic all the other times, or even kunark or hell even velious. At least with Luclin you can grind aa's and bank aa's. Does everyone just go dormant until a new expansion comes out? is that the natural cycle of things?

I think I'm up to 6 or 7 idols destroyed now. I'm just here for the Elder for a mask :)

I also gave away two to monks that stopped by.

Oh I see, you're basically banking Idols. I should have done that at that one camp where I got like 7 Rings of the Ancients and kept having to give them away in /ooc because I couldn't leave. Then again, doing the JBoots quest 6 more times sounds like poison.

Seems like you can recover one if you don't have one. The list was empty of idols when I had one in my bag, so I destroyed it. It's in the list now.

You used to be able to delete a bunch of the same lore item and then recover them all later but that was changed in a patch. I forget what the abuse case was.

You'd think they just wouldn't give a fuck since it loops into using DBC. I wonder what the abuse case was that was so bad they'd remove a DBC sink.

I tried hunting a little and nothing rang a bell. You can picture a situation where a botter is sitting on a particular spawn with a total monopoly on the drop able to destroy yet still hold a surplus but that doesn't quite seem like it would be enough for the change. Squatting on old VP medallion no variance ground spawns maybe? That also doesn't seem quite right.

So with Dain if you have the tenth ring you can get a divine aura scroll right? You turn in to the chamberlain and he gives you back the ring and a scroll. I could see a sweaty individual willing to pay 40 cents per to have DA on demand. I don't think that was the reason cited in the patch (if a specific reason was) but maybe the totality of shit is what got the token changed.
