That will be when I grind for AA. Get all the stuff that wasnt a must have, and bank the 120. It's a shame its only for a week, would of liked a bit longer on the exp.

Granted i wish there was just a 100% bonus, at least for AA, all the time.

When is the next base exp bump, GoD?
Yeah, GoD.

It's too bad LOTD isn't until DoN. I feel almost certain that it used to be a GoD thing. Some sort of Mandela Effect going on there, or maybe wishful thinking. DoN is a long time to wait for that hour of double exp (I usually pop it even if I can't play, so I can double it up whenever I actually have an hour to AA).

Is LOTD a persona-bound ability like Origin or an item cooldown like the NRO scythe? If you can use it on every persona individually, that's pretty sick for people who don't have a lot of time to play and want to maximize it.

I wasn't asking. It is infinitely more embarrassing to show effort for something and fail than to show zero effort and have the same outcome. This is just a human thing, it supersedes the game.

Maybe you can position yourself as the 'thorn in the side' of another guild or something and try to convince people to keep showing up and losing races, but morale will take a hit and you'll find it harder to mobilize full numbers if you lose every race.
Just bumping this old comment.

Technically it was Omens on Mischief, but now it's Omens/DoN. Definitely did not have LOTD during GoD on Aradune.

Havent messed with personas, but I would think that since they're treated as separate chars with separate xp pools, AA windows, etc, they should definitely have separate vet AA cooldowns like Origin. Since inventory is shared, the item global CD makes sense.

LOTD really does help alleviate burnout. If you 3 box or have friends to grind with regularly, LOTD and fellowship campfires are super nice QoL additions that make short play sessions way the fuck more productive.

All those guys really disappeared, huh.

Being the thorn in someone's side really doesn't drive people to show up, and making asses of themselves in the process doesn't drive recruitment. Whoda thunk?

Maybe in PoP/GoD we can have some good clean races.

Imo persona should of came with some kind of shared AA exp between them or maybe a bonus for each persona to x level.

Cleric lets you get away with a lot of things. And you will never not be wanted(at least in early to mid/late EQ, I hear shm is broken op in very late eq 110+).

Sad part is, you probably trade all those concessions for getting the blame anytime something goes wrong.

Yeah, Shaman is king support class in late-era EQ. Easily surpasses Cleric IMO, not sure when the changeover occurs though. Probably starts moving in that direction with OOW (which is early-era) and the Shaman 2.0.

In return, Shamans have to grind more AAs to be effective than any other class in the game in late eras, AFAIK. And if they're not the most, they're top 3.

In raids, yes. 100%. In groups, no, you are always the first role replaced by a box, and easily the least wanted by far after SoD. Get to know people and have a permagroup... or box.

Is there a class that isn't out in the cold when played as a single character?

As in, always in raid demand / doesn't need to box to solo / doesn't have any low points where they're not included in groups? Probably Shaman or SK is the best bet.

Meanwhile, in Teek drama...

The new RI talking point seems to be that FF only wins because we're fielding more people (it was closer to 72v72 until their people stopped showing up). Like Sloan said, we didn't bitch about zergs when we were losing 30 to 60 to them on some Kunark fights.

He’s saying that of their 72 only 52 were dps.
