Isn't 61 to 65 just not that big a deal? Couple hours kinda thing?
Hit 61 immediately, 61-62 with a good group and pots should be 1.5ish hours probably, 62-63 another 2ish, 63-64 probably 3 or 4, and 64-65 depending on what zone is probably 5-6 hours.

This was like 25% exp pot normal group in Valor--->Tactics type shit if I recall. I'd say you're looking at like 8-10ish hours if you're a power grinder poopsocker, and most people are around 12-16 hours of more relaxed play. I wish I had my omega log file to check the times for my leveling, but I'm pretty sure the hardcore in my guild were 65 around 10ish hours after launch and the medium tier people were 65 after about 3 normal 2-4 hour grouping sessions over a few days.

4 months of pop and this new wow classic will bleed this server a huge amount. The 70 span will do it again(though at least DoN/OoW are together as 1) with another TLP launch during OoW(iirc) for the crazies that love to just do classic > Pop over and over again.

Will be interesting to see whats left over.

Yeah, PoP and PoR are both gonna murder the population, like they always do. Teek has the population to weather it and probably be better off afterwards, but Tormax is going to have like one six-boxer playing during prime-time.

Why hasn't Darkpaw ever addressed this issue that happens every single year? Are they somehow unaware? Do they not care about TLP player retention because they aren't even paying attention to TLPs to begin with? Better to focus on new level 130 content that around 800 players game-wide are actually going to engage with / compete on, I guess.

61 to 65 can be kind of long in a regular group, it'll be a late night. A lot depends on what you've got flags for and how good the group is. That said, the AA PL spots that work now will still work at launch (guessing they'll get pretty slow by 63 though, never went that route myself).

The 5 level spreads tend to be less and less of an issue as they progress. 66-70 flies by in Paw. I remember 71-75 being insanely fast in our secret DODH spot. Like 3 hours or so if it was even that much.

They would rather people jump to a new TLP so they can sell a bunch of 40 slot bags over again.

What are the new Tower rewards? Anything worth doing this time?

This unlock is three illusions and another 6 or 7 different mounts. I don't know if the three illusions have another buff or benefit built in to them.

I'm hoping one of the mounts is smaller and less noisy than the mech boar thing.

Yeah 61-65 can be a bit of a slog. It will get better as you get flagged for BoT, PoF, etc. PoF with charm pet(s) is really good xp.

Once PLers set up operations in PoI, CoD, etc, that should be pretty fast.

The hobgob caves in PoN still good xp decades later? That was a nice spot with plenty of gem/cash drops, a couple rare spawns too. Just had to avoid the massive aggro radius of the bosses. Should be easy with tower gear these days.

Cave in PoE used to be a fav of mine, but need a key off the croc.

Caves are pretty solid XP as long as you're not having to fight over spawns.

Of course, nowawdays, all the bosses in there are one groupable, even boxable, so it has the potential for some really nice loot if you get a boss pop (the main hobgoblin boss is in a pretty high tier, IIRC, as is Shade). Was a favorite spot of mine on Mischief.
