this.(id rather respond to someone who isnt mentally handicapped so i responded to this)

pretty much the main reason is for ease of use playing custom servers or any server without installing or modifying shit on your computer.

there is a bunch of other hella sweet reasons, like more genres with same Eq gameplay, but i really dont feel like typing it all down.

mainly because i have to write up some multiple page report on what the project's direction is when i easily get thousands of people to click a simple link to play instantly.

Project is open source, so there will be a ridic amount of people building MMOs off of Everquest Gameplay (moreso then now). Already have a bunch of mongoloids asking me for the source code (when it's already avail on github). Been ignoring them tho, because unfinished. Those types of people would fare better in the web-based server creator/editor I will create after I get all the basic shit implemented in-game.



oh ya: and the server/client runs on port 80, so it easily disguises itself as regular internet traffic at work/school. The only thing that could be flagged non-work related is the domain(website) in which you play the game on. So like, if UnityEQ.com ends up being blocked at your work, you can still have the game hosted on other domains such as your own that would be less game related and still allow you to play.

So the question, "when is: alpha/beta" always seems like an odd question to me.

But you can play normal EQ at work. You can alt tab and it is easy to set up and the whole thing can fit on a cheap usb stick. And really, how many people do you think are gonna be in this demographic? People who are desperate to play a 17 year old game, at work, with someone monitoring their net traffic yet fine about having unity browser running, and you also can't play on any of the emu servers. This thing is gonna have a population of 2 and one will be Tyen.

It's not my duty to fix everything sucks. I already have a job.

p.s. I know this project would be better if he made it into something else though. Should have just made a new game out of it and just stole all the EQ formulas. It could be a sweet turn based or RTWP party based rpg, sell it on windows, mac, android, iphone.
