I have paid $100 for this game.
I have yet to bitch about this game at all.
I couldn't see what he was bitching about since the screenshot is so small....

Couple of random dev posts :
To make a template:
* Use the selection tool. (Yeah, you have to craft this and it requires iron and aquamarine, so you'll need at least an Iron Pick.)
* Select the thing you want to save.
* CTRL + C to copy it.
* Open the Element Tray and choose the "Templates" tab. (Looks like a little house icon.)
* Click SAVE TEMPLATE.
* Name the template. Ta-da! You just saved it. Now you can load it at any time.
Once you can load a template, you can place it in the world, just like you could have pasted it after copying it originally.
More servers are on the way, but it's not going to happen today. Hardware doesn't get delivered on Sundays.

Well I pulled you out of the quotes after I realized that you were bitching about someones screenshot, and not people playing the alpha and giving feedback. Thanks for responding though, I appreciate it <3!
If you chew the midol it gets into your bloodstream faster. Don't just swallow it.
If you aren't in alpha or haven't tried the process yet, you won't understand the screenshot.
First one is basically the edge of a tier 3 map, which was the only place on the entire map to place a claim.
Second one would be a bunch of claim locations that people have already claimed. The highlighted boxes is the area on the map that my player is standing. I zoomed out to show the size of the claims relative to the entire map.
If you honestly can't see them, then I suggest windows magnifier or ctrl+scrollwheel up.

Apparently he is super pissed about something, did some shit go down in the Pantheon thread? Not that it matters, as he is going on ignore. Oh and by the way Misery, pretty sure he is just trolling you - I'm at 1920 x 1080 and I could see it perfectly fine.

Misery (and for those that are trying to place claims) there are actually quite a few areas in that shot that you can place a claim on but the interface lacks any sort of intuition so it can be tricky to find out where. SOE have openly admitted they hate the claim placing interface so we can certainly expect it to change.
A claim has 2 sections, the claim itself which is the smaller box in the center and then the overall bounding box. The ONLY stipulation when building your claim is that the core claim box can not be built directly inside the bounding box of another claim. So the trick is to find an area that you can place your small claim box in (paying particular close attention to the Z axis) that doesn't rest in anyone else's bounding box. The bounding boxes, as seen by Misery's shot, can certainly overlap without issue. This also means that a claim can actually be wedged in between 2 bounding boxes that might be separated by space on the Z axis.
If Misery were to zoom in on that shot and rotate his camera down to get a horizontal view, you can see the space available for claiming as the top down view is only a small part of the picture.
What would be nice is if they showed you claim spots available instead of what is currently there.

I posted when you only had the one tiny screenshot up. It sucked. Get over it. Should have made the screenshot bigger for those of us with "good monitors".
My claim is on the top of a huge mountain. I had no issues. I can see from your screenshot you got fucked. And? It is alpha.

My client is borked then, because I literally cannot place a claim inside any of the buffer zones I am actively trying to place my flag down in many many areas. The only area that I can place a flag in would be outside any buffer zone. I'm not going by the map, or the red, I'm going by the fact that it won't allow me to actually place a claim anywhere that I'm clicking. Try deleting your claims and throwing down a new claim somewhere. Take a screenshot if you get a good one.

Anyone able to do anything in game? Can't seem to dig or cut trees. Also keep getting reset to a few feet above the ground and falling, like twice a second.
