hahahahha. Planetside2 alpha/beta had plenty of down time. Planetside2 at launch has plenty of down time.
I still don't see all these tons of claims that some people have been saying exist, not here but on the forums mainly. I think DG said people just don't know how to search for claims. Been trying to find a decent claim for hours. Everything is still redness. I basically walk all over a map clicking my claim flag and being surrounded on all sides, and sometimes above, by redness.

By the way, if you have a keyboard with a macro function, or are willing to use autohotkey, it makes all the difference in the world to macro a left click for mining. Fuck getting carpal tunnel holding down the left mouse button, especially with the slight lag delay (when what I just hovered over got mined about 1-1.5 secondsafterI moved on to the next highlighted area). Although don't be retarded like me and forget to turn it off when clicking over to your desktop and having to reboot the machine for being a dumbass.
Hope this puts it into perspective, I cannot put my claim anywhere inside the area of those 2 claim boxes. The land being flat, and not crowded by other claims, makes it easier to see why it's so hard to find anyplace. The boxes also take up space above and below.

As previously mentioned, you troll lurkers can get out. I fail to see how him pointing out difficulties with placing a claim, and without any negative superlatives, constitutes bitching about alpha. Please go back into the shit-hole that is the Pantheon thread. You'll find everything you need there.
