Go to walmart, buy the 2k pt card for like 12-15 bucks, wait for a triple SC weekend to claim it, and you get 6k pts for $12-15. And SC isn't game dependent, its just on your account to use in any SOE game.
Ah gotcha , buy the Wal-Mart cards whenever and just look for SOE bonus weekends to redeem. Time to sneak a couple in each grocery trip it looks like.

Hey guys -Station Cash promotions are done at a company wide leveland on the game team we don't have a lot of influence on their timing or discount percentage. However we do have influence on the sales and promotions in Planetside 2 that we're running.

Yeah I think they are as well, they said that they were losing money or something to that effect.

Not sure if you need to go to your current claim to delete it (I say this because I can't bring up the claim screen unless I am on the correct map), but if that is the case (and I think it is), I will need to run over to my claim, delete it, then either head over to the portal spire or log out to get to the new server maps.

Hey folks,
Over the weekend, a bunch of folks lost voxel changes AND the props they had on their claims. (Stuff like saw tables, stone forges, etc.)
We just figured out a way to recover the props.
Unfortunately, we can't recover the voxel changes, but we did find ways to prevent future losses (hopefully).
Regarding the props: As of tomorrow's update (Tuesday), the next time you log into the game and go to your claim, look in your inventory. The props should be there again.
So if you rebuild them today...that's great! But just know that we're pretty sure you'll get them back again tomorrow!

I read that void vaults also act as one way doors. So imagine your claim is int he side of a mountain. Have your void vault be your front door, and then only have a small room to go in, with no way out. Then you can hit the "go to surface" button and zip tot he top and dig down. Then place another void vault at the top so you fall right back in when reseting to surface. Might work as a trap.

Playing Project: Gorgon while I wait for the servers to come back up - not too bad for a couple of dudes + the Unity engine. I can see why Brad McQuaid is using it for his hopefully funded new game.
And that's why you are not running the show!
Honestly, it feels like they are reinventing themselves as a company. I like the new attitude and openness of the DEV team on issues. It goes a long way towards rebuilding credibility with their player base.
How exactly, do you delete a claim? I hadn't really looked over the options and want to be ready to do so when I get back in game. Do I need to be standing at my claim to delete it?

I think you just need to be in the same map as the claim, but don't quote me on it as I'm not in game. Either way, you click on the flag icon, and hit "delete".
