Not ENTIRELY true. Giving press a little wiggle room around the NDA COULD sell more founders packs.. Just sayin'. You listening Dexella? YOU LISTENING?

Well, perhaps that is true considering that the game is said to be much more polished than one would expect from an alpha. Positive publicity couldn't hurt them given the confusion people seem to have about the title.

So quick question. Why would there be a land rush? Just curious because it seems like the terrain is moddable to be whatever you want. So it's not like UO were usable land or unique landscapes will be in short supply. I guess resources? But they said they would also re spawn dynamically.

They have said there will be only 1 continent per server that is 'Norrathian Architecture' only. From what I have gathered, there is no global auction house, only player 'stalls'. Market 'stalls' only exist around 'Landmarks', which are also fast travel hubs. There is 1 landmark per biome.

But who knows if this will remain accurate come release.

Oh my so many people throwing $100 for a free-to-play sandbox game. That's amusing to be honest. Are you guys throwing this much money to play the Alpha or is it about the "land-grab" thing or maybe it's the extra goodies you get or a combination of all?

@Quaid did they answer the question regarding how many land-plots one account may have and if it's going to cost something?

Combo of all for me. Not to mention... The game just looks fucking awesome. Unfortunately at this point, EQNext hasn't tickled my pickle at all. Landmark though? Stoked!

For me I'm just bored, as I've not been playing any games in quite awhile, and LandMark looks simply amazing. Add to it the Storybricks portion that will be added in, and it's mind blown if they pull that off. I can create my own world, and fiddle with npcs, and their AI. Sign me up. I've never been in an Alpha as well, so it will be kinda cool to watch things as they progress.

As far as the land grab thing, I'm not worried about that at all. The goodies are just a bonus. Certainly not what swayed me to get in on the Alpha. Most of that stuff will probably be replaced within a month id expect anyway.

I'm at the same boat. EQN was extremely disappointing but Landmark? Oh boy... it sounds like something I'd definitely enjoy.

Exactly! The idea that I can create a dungeon with traps and hostile NPC (I'm guessing that's possible, eventually) alone makes this game promising. The more I know about Land-Mark the more I know I would spend plenty of time there. Which makes me really consider buying one of the Founder Packs.
