this game is taking advantage of everything on my PC... so much that my battery backup can't keep up with the power consumption. I need a bigger/better one so it doesn't turn my PC off while playing this game. It IS a shitty battery backup but I've never had a problem with anything else before. Not only is the game 64 bit but it seems to be utilizing my SLI setup as well. I'm above 30FPS consistently in this on High everything.

There's a bit of a hump at the beginning because you need to do a LOT of gathering before you can really settle down and start building. Once you get the first upgraded mine pick and can gather rarer resources you can build crafting stations in your claim, more advanced picks, and unlock the Selection Tool (IMO it takes way too long to get the other building tools, right now).

This game has a very rewarding feeling to rare minerals though, IMO. I don't like chopping trees since you just hold down the mouse for a minute until it's done but the actual building aspect is miles ahead of Minecraft

First hour I didn't enjoy, the hours after I did. At this point it's definitely Minecraft MMO but I'm having my fun and if they keep the features flowing in I should stay a while.

Can't find copper to save my life, keep running to gold nodes I think... which I then can't harvest.

Also to note the high end pack adds some +% items to gathering a larger vault etc. Just for the ones who over time will be gathering and building tons it could come into play.

Overall I like it enough to noy regret the purchase , looking forward to them adding more and more. In most mmo's before I never was a hardcore crafter , just liked gathering and playing the market so enjoying the idea of mining and selling resources.

Throw in the excellent music and it's an overall enjoyable experience that's likely to get better for me.
