There has always been some dodgy shit going on between CCP and certain players. I remember back in the early years there was an alliance down in Stain - I think it was just called The Stain Alliance - that was populated entirely by the customer service people/mods or whatever they were called. Since there were always people online 23/7 they'd have a laptop or two open while at work monitoring shit, and if a raid occurred, they'd phone up and wake their buddies who would log on and defend the area.

I mean they literally fired multiple people over the years that moved to Iceland to work there because they couldn't stop printing BPOs and other shit for their corps

Yea those are the first of the new titans to die, so a fairly significant event.

There were some killed early on but they were basically just a big AWOX for publicity.

Can someone thats an active player of some type give me a more detailed explanation of what this update is bringing to the table, please?


The biggest impact of this is gonna be that heavy interdictors can light cynos again, which opens up a whole class of ships to be used in some new interesting ways. The overall warp speed changes won't matter much for most people, but will shuffle things around a bit in a few fringe cases in terms of some scouts or tackle etc.

Mining changes are all stupid cause mining is stupid and it's just more placating all the big nullbocs that endlessly cry about their infinite AFK/bot income. Some basic T1 ships will maybe get a bit cheaper which is nice I guess.

No one but like a few dozen giga boxers does anything in Pochven so who knows what adding filament timers to them will do. Thar be dragons over there.

FW changes are nice, but don't actually solve the main issue with FW right now which is Frat/china/boxers flying 10+ ship fleets via ISboxer and dominating all the pirate FW to pay their rents or what the fuck ever. It's not even about fighting them from the empire side - you literally cannot play pirate insurgency because they will just AWOX you with impunity to keep all the site payouts for themselves, and nothing in these changes will address that.
