My poor foh bros. I can tell you that we didn't hire any of these guys, it wasn't even our idea. I'm sure you can figure out which other alliance was leading the charge. We just came for the ride (can't blame us for that). It seems this was more about evening some narwhals grudges than our alliance name or anything else.

Apparently, alotof people hate DJ. Bane and Cipreh kept the dogs off while they were diplos, but when they left, half of wormhole space just started seeding caps in your wormhole. I had no idea the numbers until I saw them on field, holy crap. We had nothing to do with that, but when they asked us to come along, we weren't going to say no. DJ isn't the best diplo I guess.

To give you an idea of how much they dislike DJ: We rage rolled for 3 days, rolled over 340 wormholes (we counted), and in the end, they rolled into us. We were closing in on a route from your static when they rolled it to keep us out. The new static opened directly into us.

There are alot of ex-TL with us, not just from our alliance either. The feelings are bittersweet.

I am pissed that I missed the fight tho. Damn EU.

Needs screenshots and killboard links. Or forumporn. Something is missing!

Also 340 rolls in 3 days is crazy. I'd have probably killed myself.

My question: How did DJ piss off so many people while in narwahls? I see that it's mentioned Cipreh got voted out, did the same thing happen there?

Op is still ongoing although it's almost over so I'm avoiding alot of detail, there will be videos and shizz sometime today I'm sure. You'll see articles pretty soon as well probably.

You can find the damage on eve-kill. Here's the initial story (prefighting):http://en.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/..._interstellar/alot of good comments.
That's a pretty good read. Noone ever elaborated at all what happened in TL losing it's name for me. This is why democracy doesn't work in space, people. You need tyrants with powerful cults of personality. Fuck letting everyone have a voice.

Since I'm logged off in someone's Machariel, I'll just say that the main guys leading this invasion all had a personal beef against our half of the old Narwhal's alliance (whether DJSwitch47 actually deserves most or all of it, I can't comment since I wasn't involved in all the leadership politics stuff).

This culmination of events has been brewing for years and should not be a surprise.

'Need' is not the same as 'can't prevent.'
In the absence of that sort of person, do you think equal representation works well in EVE?

Let me put it a different way. What exactly did the former Narwahl corps bring to TL that entitled them to a say in an already established alliance when their own had failed? Why would you let people like that have a say?

It's complicated and I'll explain to you ingame unless Kais has the time to post the dirt.

Well since im logged off in roughly 20b of worldly possession for the foreseeable future, i guess i can write something up. It's a long story, and there is so much just plain bald faced lies floating around that chances are my synops will be laughed off. I've got no reason to lie. I'm not a player, i'm just friends with those that are. And i've been around long enough to see almost the whole story.

I had some stuff outlined, but the reporter from themittani.com had done his homework and then some. Wait for the article and i'll fill in some blanks, if any.

Should be interesting. I don't have any of the dirt before you guys joined TL. In the meantime, I'll post the videos.

I'll explain the videos at least, for the simple reason that every time it's posted someone from Polarized. cannot stop fapping about how much of a gf it was. It wasn't. It was a flat out gank by an overwhelming force that was organized with cap support. The support fleet from SSC finally rolled in (that also included Hard Knocks and some others), about 3pm eastern so almost all the USTZ guys were at work (which is like 75% of TL). The kneejerk call on comms was for everyone to ship up and jump on/into the hole. From the SSC side there was 2 separate fleets, and another TL fleet in the hole that was hastily thrown up once the hole was scouted. A couple of caps joined, and warped from different directions at different times, while whoever was awake on the SSC side jumped in. 3 different alliance fleets roughly 60-80 pilots total, without clear leadership, jumping in at different times/landing at different ranges, into a prepared Polarized. fleet of roughly 130 with 12 bhaals, 8 moros, and 100+ t3/logi. It was a turkey shoot. They didn't even need a target caller.

It was a bad call. The initial planning was for the break in fleet to jump in and immediately warp to friendly POS so we could coordinate a proper response. Instead an opportunity to get closer to equal numbers was squandered. Confusion in tight circumstances isn't that uncommon however for coalitions of many.

Yea. I got that sense from both videos, honestly. Those folks should have gotten out when they had the chance and never called for reinforcements. It was pretty bad that one guy stays even after the call that all logis are dead.
