How was that a spoiler? Responses to the question certainly could be, but the question itself is not in any way.

Have I made a huge mistake by convincing Mama Murphy to kick the chems? Companions loved it, but I feel like it's going to bite me in the ass later.
Doubtful considering she's just another town resident after the Concorde section. I haven't gotten too far in the main story quests but I have yet to backtrack like that.

She definitely isn't just another resident. She's got a whole quest series, that I'm pretty sure I just canceled out permanently on step 1 by telling her to give up the Sight/chems. It's pretty annoying that I have to take a 'dislike' hit from Preston and Piper every time I give her chems though. I guess I can send them to the Red Rocket temporarily though; if they aren't actually in Sanctuary I don't think they know about it.

How to add 21:9 (ultrawide) support.
To have this game run in 21:9 without issue simply open Fallout4Prefs.ini in your documents (C:\Users\[name]\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\), and change the following lines to how they are below:

For borderless windowed mode:
bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=XXXX
iSize W=YYYY

Where XXXX is whatever your vertical resolution is aand YYYY is whatever your horizontal resolution is.

For fullscreen mode:
bTopMostWindow=0
bMaximizeWindow=0
bBorderless=0
bFull Screen=1
iSize H=1080
iSize W=2560

Where XXXX is whatever your vertical resolution is aand YYYY is whatever your horizontal resolution is.

Next do the same for the second Fallout4Prefs.ini located in wherever you insalled steam then steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout 4.

Currently the hud will stretch, another person is likely to soon to release a fix for the hud.

If you are finding your image has this odd dark rectangle bug in your Fallout4Pref.ini file change:
bComputeShaderDeferredTiledLighting=1
to
bComputeShaderDeferredTiledLighting=0
Thanks, but that just gets you into the right resolution. The UI is still fubar after all that. The guys at wsgf are working on it so it shouldn't be too long of a wait.

Well feck I did the same thing. Haven't seen a quest though.

Watched my friend start the game up at his house this afternoon. Not sure how anyone needed help with concrete. Dude basically mulched everything nearby and had plenty of concrete in the first hour. I hope there are more recipes for settlement stuff somewhere. Looked a little light to me.

I fucked up. Started playing tonight knowing I have vacation next week.... Never played Fallout for some reason, looked up and 5 hours later I'm trying to justify working from home tomorrow. I just made it to first town, spent literally 2 hours around my house breaking down trees cars etc. absolutely love the music, vibe etc. gfx suck a bit, but I think I'm in love

How exactly do you make a 'profit' with your settlements? I have two going rather well (Sanctuary is at a 13 people, the other one is at 11) - Level 2 Local Leader, weapon shop, armor shop, medic shop, etc.

I vaguely recall people saying you could make plenty of caps by setting up settlements, but I have not found any additional income. Gotta buy those vendor Unique items!

Suprised I miss older char progression. Stat choices and perks seem even harder to make now since it's all so close at hand but yet far away at same time.
Currently starting 2/3/1/5/4/1/6 with one point in hacking. Grab Per, int, and maybe agi early. Unsure if I should just make int 5 and save lv 6 from bobble and first level point into hacking. (Not sure how quick lockpick/computer stuff shows up to miss out on if i dont have it.)

Hate that AP is from AGI as seems like I only want first 2 points in it for dmg skills, reast is mostly sneaky shit except for AP regen. PER seems a bit boring combat wise too until near the end and I dont know that I'll trully end up sniping that much vs just the usual mid range EW/bullet hose assault rifle type stuff. As is even for gun stuff str tree for better hip fire and crushing people by walking into them w/ suit etc seem almost better for combat. Not to mention needing lv 3 for armor crafting? Still confused on crafting since some are making it sound possibly not worthwhile/easily skippable.

Someone said scrapper pointless since weapons heavy and get mats elsewhere, but noticed rank 2 mentions a bunch of components that sound like they wouldnt be in just random junk?

I take back my doubts about melee, 5X sneak attack and I basically teleport around a room using vats for combo sneak attack kills.

Pics of some cool melee weapons and a minor spoiler I have found so far, also have a pipe that does double dmg if enemy is full health AKA one shots almost anything if I sneak attack.
That island near the castle is a beast, I placed mines all over before turning on the generator to kill the queen

Also you can put level up points into your stats as well, I did not know that and was wondering how people make use of the stat 10 perks.

I really generally like the new leveling perk points system. It definitely encourages pre planning a lot more.

Tempted to try a melee build, but would think miss out on things like the lockpicking, hacking and that rank 6 cha perk.

Took me a while to realize you didn't need previous rank in perk tree, I was working my way down , instead of just cherry picking :p

Aside from helping performance, this like skyrim or others where turning off motion blur and lens flare make things less dumb?

EDIT: Fixed

Don't they deposit caps into the workbench like everything else in the settlement?
