If you could capture the Anheuser Busch plant on the south side you would be set for caps. It would be like the Nuka Cola plant in FO3!

haha nice! That actually sounds sweet. The area around the Arch would be deadly though!

I actually gave two Fallout 3 location tours at the DC comic con last year. It was pretty sweet to be able to show fellow Fallout fans some locations in game and of course show the similarities and differences in our timeline versus 2177. (Silver Diner restaurants filled with Raiders and bloody bodies hanging upside down hah!). If anyone ever comes to DC and wants to see how good of a job they did PM me ahead of time (at least a week advance) and if I got the time I will make a point to show ya around. Places like Arlington cemetery have some really cool IRL Easter eggs that make you say WHOA! haha nevermind the locations on the National Mall.

Regime that sounds like the nerdiest, lamest thing I've ever heard of and I love you for it

I'm 99% sure I must have seen your album at some point on reddit. That Goodsprings picture rings a bell.

Well, it's not particularly shocking - BethSoft is over in Rockville they could probably see half the places from there with binoculars. (Although the art assets were largely handled at ZeniMax up in Hunt Valley, but still...)

Fallout: St Louis wouldn't happen, because Defiance is doing the whole post-apocalyptic St Louis already ;p

Not sure what the apprehension about a coop/multiplayer FO4 is. FO3 was basically a big-budget singleplayer DayZ/h1z1 with a lot of NPCs, quests and built up areas, right?

The other major counterpoint to FO3/NV being necessarily lonely is is how popular party members were in FO3.

Making a coherent single-player experience for FO4, then having support to run your own servers Minecraft style where you have full reign on having mods would be amazing. I agree that the single-player experience has to be compelling on its own, but I don't think the game would need to be dramatically changed to support coop. You wouldn't need to adjust the mob's HP or anything for it to still be fun, IMO. Shit just taking VATS away makes the game much harder.
