I wish I could cryosleep until release day.

Have you guys had any issues with Amazon pre orders in the past? I've heard stories ranging from people getting their game the day before to getting it a few days late. I have next day delivery on FO4 Pip Boy Edition but I'm hoping that doesn't mean I'm going to get the game a whole day after launch.
Should be fine. My preorders are through best buy by necessity rather than desire so who knows if theyll arrive day of.

both best buy and amazon generally get video games to you on release date, as long as you don't live in some bum fuck rural area where it takes an extra day to get shit to you. i've ordered dozens of games and hardware from both in the past 2 years and every single one has come on release day (never a day early or later).

I've never had a problem with Amazon, has always been release day. Best Buy however is terrible. I got my standard edition bloodborne over 2 weeks after release. Like they had shelves full of them in store but couldn't get my preorder. I realized on release day when it hadn't even shipped yet that shit was whack, so o just bought one and returned the delivery one on the receipt I got in store

Hopefully that won't happen with my fallout pipboy editions. But I missed the original preorders when they first went out, so I feel lucky to even get an order in regardless.

The Pip Boy wrist thing looks silly and the plastic seems like cheap toy-quality. I doubt anyone would use it in actual game play, it's one of those things you try on for an hour then put it back in the packaging to never see it again.

Right, but some of us like to collect useless cheap toy quality plastic nonsense so long as it is remotely related to Fallout.

I still have two bobbleheads and two lunch boxes and the casino chips from new vegas sitting in front of my pc monitor. I intend to keep them there until I'm a corpse.

I have started getting physical copies of games I play a shit ton during holiday down time, mainly because PSN tends to take a shit a lot over the holidays and you get locked out of your games. Plus (sigh) pre-order bonuses do motivate me to pick certain places to buy a game like this from.
