He didn't even talk about the ending. It sold nearly 13 million copies back in the day so it was a huge success. There's no way most of those people disliked it when FNV sold similar numbers. Even people who dislike the ending typically still liked the game, especially if you were asking their opinion before FNV. So, it feels pretty disingenuous on your part to think no one could have such a strong reaction to the game. Could he be making that up to garner gamer support? Sure, but it's still plausible.

That quote by the showrunner is pretty goddamn naive, though. If NZ and Canada started letting everyone in without restrictions, it wouldn't stay that same way, obviously.

Still, in the trailer, we see scenes where the Vault clearly goes haywire, but unclear if it's the protagonist's vault or somewhere else,. Still, it doesn't seem like the show is going to shy away from vault craziness.

Based on context, the Vault where people were murdering each other is the protagonist's Vault based on the numbers on their suits. However, the newest trailer showed that the blonde teaser trailer lady who had a fork in her eye and was firing a SMG had gauze and tape over that same eye and was acting normally. So that makes me think that whatever the fuck was going on in the haywire situation "resolved" itself to some degree given that she received medical care.

For all we know, they are an experiment vault vs. a control vault. Maybe their water gets spiked once a year with some hyper aggressive drug and everyone starts murdering each other. The protagonist leaving the vault suggests they're looking to either escape that situation or resolve it. We know her father is the overseer of the vault, so he would be privy to more information on the vault than the general inhabitants.

As for the FO3 ending, it's not my favorite given that you go and seemingly die and the game forces you to do it (going as so far to have the super mutant say "nah bro, its your destiny" when you ask him to do it instead), although at least the DLC undid that. Although FO3 still ended more or less open ended for the most part.

Broken Steel was great and that railgun or whatever it was you got on the BoS base was badass.

It's in the fucking studios mandates that the show be woke to the point of nausea. They're contractually obligated to alter any story line to promote poc, shit on classic values, and ensure 3 gays and trans people get screen time sucking face.

Once award shows changed their eligibility requirements, that was pretty much the end of that. Studios have no say.

No creative is going to make something that is eligible for no awards.

No actor will act in a production that he knows will be ineligible for any award.

People are just slow on the uptake and ramifications of the award show changes.

The big picture "woke agenda" isn't as much of the sticking point as the award eligibility requirements. The award requirements ensure that nothing will ever be truly woke free ever again-- besides very tiny productions made for the armpit of streaming with little to no budget. Anything that matters with any type of budget has to conform to what the award shows said is the minimum requirement to receive a nomination for an award.

I thought you could meet those requirements behind the scenes with roles that are not actually on film, ie for a period piece, or some artsy shit that takes place in a single room with one actor.

Definitely depends on the award. Some awards have their own requirements. A guy in a room can't go up for Best Picture AFAIK. Of course big streaming companies like Amazon wouldn't change anything about their policies regardless if award shows did or didn't change requirements.

Funny moment was Mads Mikkelsen shoulder rolling that reporter for pointing out his movie would be eligible for no award(s), like he gave a fuck.

I don't remember any same sex relationship in Fallout 1, but you may be thinking of Fallout 2, which Tim Cain had little involvement in.

Bethesda might have made Fallout retarded, but, yea, they didn't really increase the gay that much. At least in the parts of the Beth games I saw, before quitting those shit shows.
