Finally watched season 1 and agree with overall being better than True Detective. First half was great and got a little slow but that finale was great

I could see it being better than season 2 of True Detective but not season 1. That said I really enjoyed this show and am excited for some Ted Danson season 2!

Both started off strong and then went a little weak but fargo had a much stronger Finish. I'll probably watch Fargo again unlike True Detective

I really enjoyed the first episode of the new season.

Looks like it will be an interesting story.

Just like True Detective I have that belief nothing will compare to Billy Bobs performance but after seeing all the actors making appearances im pretty excited. Going to be weird seeing Michael Westen

Kirsten Dunst once again puts on the Minnesota accent that made her a star before her tits did.

I don't know why, but Dunst looks better in this than she has in any movie she's been in for the past decade or so.

70's Midwestern housewife next door hot is probably her ceiling. I've never thought she was particularly attractive, just remarkably average.

'Based on a true story'. I know its not really based on a true story, instead some elements have some real life parallels. But I do distinctly recall a news story where a lady hit a guy with her car and just drove home with him stuck in the windshield.

Anyway, great first episode.

Once they got past the diner scene I was bored. The worst was Dunst's scene, but not at all because of Dunst. That shit was just dull. The bingo scene felt like a revisit to The Big Lebowski's first bowling alley scene, which was mildly amusing as a callback but not that interesting. I hope it picks up a bit. Last season hooked me right off the bat.

God damn do I still hate Todd. He looks even more like downsy matt damon now that he's put on some weight too.

Also, WTF was up with the spaceship/ UFO lights? The only person that saw it is now dead, did that have any meaning at all?

From Meth Damon to Mass Damon

Also, I'm guessing he's going to be digging out a copy of "To Serve Man" soon.

Assuming that's only happened once, i remember it too. IIRC, a stripper in dallas who was rolling on x when she did it. Then she parked the car in the garage for days and waited for him to die. She finally got caught when she talked a couple of dudes into going in there to kill him, and instead they called 911. I haven't seen the episode yet, so I have no idea how close they stuck to that.

Too many scenes where nothing of interest is happening while they try distracting viewers with mismatched music. I'll watch a couple more to see if things pick up.

Bug spray induced hallucination?

Maybe the tinfoil balloon was reflecting light. Though at the end of the last episode you could clearly see high elevation bright lights being bounced off the windows of the shops. That and the music synced up about people on other planets watching us with great interest.
