Semi-trolling posting aside I just find it funny theyve had mountains of evidence on him for nearly a decade yet hes just barely being charged and so swiftly. If everything is true the dude is a scumbag so why not bury him? Why give him a plea deal? The story went in the span of two weeks to being associated with a pedophile, to being a suspect to copping a plea deal.

Building strong cases is what the DoJ does, when politics isn't allowed to interfere with the process at least. Their conviction rate is over 90% in criminal cases.

Which is why they are pleading out? Whats the point of gathering evidence for 5 years if you are only going to lock him up for 5?

and my mistake, they have evidence going back at least 8 years.

The plea deal says he can't get less than 5 years, but he can get as much as 12.5 years.

So I seriously doubt he's gonna get 5 years.

But were they gathering it 8 years ago or do they simply have evidence that is from that far back?

And do you seriously not understand the criminal justice system enough to know why cases are pleaded out instead of taken to trial?

That usually just means he's gotta do five on it before he's considered for parole/release. But he can do as much as 12.5 if they deny him that long. Which they generally won't, he's probably got no prior record and sex offenders usually excel at staying in the good graces of prison staff. Due to his high profile status he'll be a lock for protective custody, so good chance the murder and rape fantasies don't materialize.

wife gouges what the government doesnt take. he can no longer live anywhere near a school or where children live, i think he probably has to let the neighborhood and police know when he moves into an area. probably no internet access. nobody will hire him. he deserves 30 years but his life will still be ruined when he gets out. its not like he can do his time and start over. bank robbers and murderers have a better shot at a second chance than a pedophile/rapist. not defending him at all. you should watch The Woodsman, great movie and fucked up too.

Oh, I didn't know we sentenced criminals to ass fucking. Why don't you go to Russia with your shit you fucking commie.

As soon as judges start sentencing to prison with a side of rape then I'll be ok with it. Right now the nonchalant acceptance that prisoners are basically raped and tortured is pretty sickening. We should never as a society be ok with that shit, but somehow we've ended up at the point where large swaths of people across the country endorse the idea

I don't think he has a problem understanding. If he would have stayed in Indiana and fucked a 16 year old prostitute he would have just gotten the solicitation charge (at least I think 16 is age of consent in IN). Travel to NY to fuck a 17 year old prostitute and now he gets 5-12? I understand what the law is, but that doesn't make it any less fucking stupid

Barry Crimmins was (drunk) talking about this on Rogan's podcast. People learn about the story of how he was raped as a child then come up to him and say shit about the guy getting pounded int he ass in prison. Yes, because this guy, who crusades for chidlren's rights and against abusers, he is someone who wants to see people get victimized and raped. How fucking insulting is it to say shit like that to rape victims.

My intepretation of the very, very small amount of reading I have done on this is that they just didn't catch him fucking kids, but they think he did. They didn't catch him making child porn, but they think he did, and they KNOW he had it. Seems like maybe he is giving them something for leniency, maybe selling out the other guy or something I don't know.
