Gentle reminder: New ring recipes that upgrade hero rings are from trophies... so keep stealing evoking etc. I got the first two, but now need 7 more trophies to get the next one. They are straight upgrades to hero rings btw, 10% ATK/MAG/SPR/DEF or 10%HP/MP/ATK/MAG (not sure on the others).

You need rare-spawn materials from the first two (and Ruler) for the last oneDon't bother with the first two, Ruler's Ring is the one you want. And fuck the last one too, the materials are utterly ridiculous even if you can somehow manage to get that many trophies.
Still need 1 more to unlock Ruler's.
I'm 7 away from Ruler, but some of those should be "easy". I've got to get more ability/equipment/item crafts, and then probably some coliseum stuff.

Exdeath is great in Arena when Black Magic isn't forbidden. When Dual Cast is forbidden he's not great and, it goes without saying, if black magic is forbidden he is a liability.
In PVE content he's a solid black Mage. He stands up to 5 star black Mages like Fina and Emperor. He's not as good but the disparity isn't that drastic. Now with that being said, physical units are better for almost all PVE content that doesn't have a gimmick requiring magic (like the current II event). But he's a solid pick up and he's well worth the investment to getting hm to a 6 star.

Yeah, I need to use like 30 more items to get the copper trophy and I'll have Ruler's Ring recipe. He actually has some advantages over the 5* mages. Exdeath only needs 4 Letters and Arms and he's done as far as TMs go unless you really want to get TM accessories instead of earrings. D.Fina and Emperor need a bunch of shit, like DW, 3*30% MAG, 2*Emperor's rod (or at least Arc's), TM robe, etc. Against the 5 things Exdeath has a killer against, he's only behind the others behind a tiny (<1%) margin even if you're talking about a 900+ MAG D.Fina. The main downside to him is that there's only one Enhancer to use with Letters and Arms.
