Well, I should have no trouble raping this event. Level 40 Sephiroth with Masamune? Ok then.

I'm a bit sad about the elites too, but they'll have harder content soon enough. There's shit on JP that is wrecking me right now.

It's a collection event. I don't think it'll be too hard.

Everyones farming protect vests and shit, don't think I feel like it's necessary, I mean, these events have to be at least doable by newish players, I can't see them putting out events that require 2-3 weeks of grinding and full synergy to do, when there's literally no droppable 7 weapons besides tifas gloves and they won't even have tifa at this point in time, or sephiroth, so your left with cloud and tyro using gloves for melee damage? Dunno man.

Good to hear! Just took down vargas like a little bitch. Going to run Tifa, Cloud, Seph, Tyro and Rydia from now to the end of the event, 4 of my main 5 squad I'm in 43-44 range on now. Tifa is 30. I still like the idea of running WHM and PAL Cecil, sentinel is OP as long as bosses do a decent amount of single attacks. WHM group heal is so much more useful then Tyro, just not sure how much she can handle hard shit up coming with low hp.

To add, I predict the events will be in the same difficulty range as the past 2 events. Mid 20s should be able to do everything with the right setup and those who have played since the beginning will auto win.

Probably not worth posting since it may change, but it looks like you'll get about 2480 greens for clearing all three stages of the event (easy, normal, hard). After that, each run of hard will net you about 425 greens. Aerith should cost about 4000, which means you need to run hard about 4 additional times. That's 107 stamina for the initial clears, and another 248 for the extra hard clears.

I'd say it's also worthwhile to run it for Mythril, which is an additional 600 greens.

Finally, it sounds like lvl 30 should have no issues clearing hard, and lvl 40ish to auto through it.

I'm out. Uninstalled earlier today. Just got tired of the shittastic menus really. When it takes more time to fuck with your inventory than it does to burn your stamina I have a problem.

Loved the music. The combat and strategy was okay but kinda meh. I just can't be bothered with a game that has a fucking loading screen to scroll your inventory.

How did you go about doing Magissa and Forza? Shit is absolutely wrecking me. They both hit for 1k+. The strategy I saw had you silencing Mag, and sleeping Forza. Silence lasts like a minute real time though, so if you miss a single time you get fucked. And then once Forza spawns you're relying on two status spells missing constantly. It seems retardedly hard.

Thinking about saying fuck this one for now and coming back to it in a week or so.

Original strat works for final boss of Cecil event. As long as you have at least one toon that can withstand ~1500-1700 damage, just defend and walk away for a minute.

I started doing the defend strat, but then started worrying about the number of turns and damage taken grades, so I force quit and redid with full DPS. No issues getting him down and mastering it.

Been AFK auto'ing the daily and it isn't too bad. 516 xp/sta on Medium (618 on hard) so not the pinnacle of sta efficiency for leveling but it is a great source of Black and Power Orbs which are needed for a ton of spells. Even the medium level drops 3* versions if you can't handle Hard mode.

All of my characters are low 20's. I'm on the last wing of Cecil's event. Glad I'll get to finish it off before Aeris is released.

Currently using main dude, white Mage, rydia, dark Cecil and cloud. Works decent except that enemies hate white Mage and constantly gun for her.

I have 4* White Robe and it's a totally different story, White Mage can survive hits quite well. I think it's highest res in the team and decent defense with back row bonus. So be patient for a better drop and maybe look for realm synergy armor for her.

Beat Cecil's event. Had to burn a mythril on dark Cecil and got the defense bonus. That was enough to let me win with constant defending. Only my own Cecil survived but I got the paladin.

Nice, my Sephiroth with Masamune was doing 9999 on easy. Doing about 4-5k on normal now.

This is also way better than the current JP event. Looks like about double the amount of droppables.
