This is the most blue balling track in the whole game:
Can't wait to see what they do at City of the Ancients, but I want some hard synth in the music.
I also really liked how the Jenova music is orchestral and blue balls you on the original synth masterpiece, then phase 3 drops
There's a 25% chance Yuffie was in this game.
There's a character called Kyrie in the Sector 5 Slums. She's a teenage thief with short dark hair and hot pants. Sound familiar?
Pros:
She goes with the Shinra propaganda on Avalanche = Wutai to rile up the townspeople. Yuffie's whole deal was wanting Wutai to continue the war and was ashamed their gave up.
Yuffie's theme is playing on the grammarphone next to where Johnny gives you the quest to get his wallet back from Kyrie.
Visually similar, like how Yuffie would look in disguise. Yuffie actually does wear a journalist disguise at the start of Disc 2 in Junon to help rescue Tifa.
There was a Cait Sith cameo, so why not others?
Cons:
Doesn't mention materia.
No shuriken or visible ninja skills.
Her grandmother (Angel of the Slums) doesn't look like Wutai royalty, unless it's her maternal side.
There was no effort at a Cid cameo when they literally have a Shinra Museum with a section for Palmer. The original did reference the rocket mission in the Mayor's book puzzle.
This is my theory too. She also was a thief character getting in trouble for stealing.
