31What level are you right now? Could probably either bang a few level appropriate side quests, or just do a Fate meanwhile (though Fates can take a while if there is nobody in the zone and you end up having to solo one).

Thanks. Now with any luck I didn't already do those sidequests when I was leveling up the first time lol. From memory the Fate hotspot around that level would be Costa del Sol, but no idea if people are running a lot there lately. Zone might be populated right now due to new players influx though.
There should be a handful of side quests there too :

The influx of sprouts has led to a lot of people trying to tank because of "insta queue" and "it can't be that hard."You are having queues long enough to grind while queuing as a tank?
Just seems not worth it if you go inactive and lose all your furniture and shit. You spend all that time meticulously placing it, but you can't ever go inactive.
What's the furniture cap by the way? ESO has a frustratingly low furniture cap for how massive some of the houses are.
Get an apartment, there were quite a few empty on Gilgamesh, only costs 500k and isn't celeted when you unsub. Only one room but seems like a manageable start. It actually really sucks how hard it is to get a house. I actually really got into the housing in ESO for a while. I spent big bucks on furniture (eso monies, was rich from playing the market) and spent a lot of time fucking around with housing. I never saw myself ever doing MMO housing, but when it's really good, it's easy to get sucked in. I watched the Asmon clip if him looking at houses and those look great.
Ishgard is getting housing, which would be my preferred, but since it's being added in Endwalker, we'll see how easy it will be to obtain.
However, I think they are making changes to the system to make housing a bit more available, as I understand it. The guild on Gilg is saving money to try to get a large house with the introduction of Ishgard housing, which won't be til 6.1. Every member will have their own apartment in the house, so that might help some sprouts.
I think 4 told a much better story, and having a smaller non-customizable cast was a big part of that. Also the only "significant" death in FF6 was General Leo, who wasn't even really a playable character. FF4 is an absolute bloodbath in comparison, you lose several playable characters and although most of them survive in the end (rip Tellah) none of them rejoin your party and the game feels like it has much higher stakes than FF6. Hell even FF5 (which the vast majority of us didnt play until at least the PS1 era) had a playable character death.Few pages back, but I refreshed myself on FF 4-6 again.
Sentimentality for me holds a spot for 4. I didn’t have a PC. I didn’t like playing the NES but for some reason SNES got me. 4 was the first JRPG I played and it sucked me in like nothing. 6 was objectively better, but 4 is like my first.
Where does one go to get an apartment - one of the cities?Get an apartment, there were quite a few empty on Gilgamesh, only costs 500k and isn't celeted when you unsub. Only one room but seems like a manageable start.
