One of 9's biggest problems was it came out at the very very end of the PS1's life cycle, after the PS2 was already out in Japan even. I do agree it's a fantastic game other than the dumbass ending.

Feel like 9 doesn't get lost at all. After 6 and 7, it's probably picked as "the best" the 3rd most.

Bad battle system but since we are talking story... :)

Looking forward to Soken remixing "You are not alone" for Pandaemonium. That's the whole reason you reuse that dungeon right..?

Thought the story had some slow points, too, but it was one of the better ones.

If Soken even matches some of the heights from ShB for EW, I'll be amazed.

Probably not as much as I feel. 7 just gets the fanboy talk so much. Then you get 6, 4, 10, and then all the complaints of whatever the latest emo boy dress up FF they release. Lol

I like the FF9 but the combat felt wierd if I remember corrects, some kind of delay in the turns that sucked.

I felt like literally half of the time spent in combat was loading the battle slowly then sweeping over thr field. Slower than the fight.

Jesus, looking at those Asmon stream stats. If he gets $2.5 per sub then that guy made more money in a single day playing computer games than I make in half a year of slaving my arse off. Good for him! :D

the more successful streamers get $3.5/sub and subs are only roughly 25-40% of a streamers income.

And that money is nothing compared to what the scummy gambling streamers like Trainwrecks are making (huge disgusting scumbag).

I think 6 has eclipsed 7 and has for awhile now for most noise about it. I never really hear 4 being the best, not that it isn't good, it's just kind of so far back other games clearly surpassed it.

Model changing outfits aren't new but they rarely provide them to players. G'jusana in Mor Dhona was people's hope for higher bust slider settings but that never happened.
