I am dealing with this shit right now. How the hell does it even happen? I have my account, which accessed Gilgamesh, I played and reached level 14. I entered my code from Amazon. I get my pre-order code. I go to put that in, and it says I am using the wrong region code. It is an RAAU code or whatever. So what the hell happens next? From reading AA's post I just say fuck it, cancel the Amazon order, make a new FF14 account, pre-order AGAIN from Amazon and do it over?

So I outsmarted Yamamoto. I had my pre-order access code and just made a new FF14 account. I lose my level 14 archer but it only took 5 hours to get there anyway so who cares.

I am contemplating playing until Sunday night and then canceling my order on amazon as one big FUCK YOU to SE for this disaster.

If I get one little 3102 error at all, this shit gets deleted off my hard drive and I may just take the tainted drive out of my computer and go office space on it.

Yeah, you're fucked. Good luck with CS. I just up and cancelled my preorder and reordered through Amazon.

One question - did your beta key come from some Euro site? I saw you in the linkshell.

They said you could get a 3102 I'm rather sure. It's just after about a minute it will drop you. Instead of leaving you on the server forever. It's a error from a specific drop.

Edit: What's the deal with CE items? My preorder code didn't specify any CE items, just early access items.

What settings and resolution are you running it at? That's a solid score, they have optimized the shit out of this game since CB3.

3102 was basically "you're trying to log into an account with a character logged in." They've made it so somehow you'll drop after a minute, but it doesn't sound like they added an afk kick. So I don't know how that works.

that can't be right- my i5 3570k w/ 6850 only gets a bit over 7000 @ 1680 x 1050. he must have it in 800x600 window

MMOs only unlock CE items when launch date arrives and you actually have to apply the final retail codes to your account, since otherwise it would be too easy to preorder the CE version, get CE preorder codes, and then cancel your preorder and use regular codes on launch day.

That does mean you won't have CE items during early access. Also its going to be funny on Aug 27th when early access ends and the game goes live, I'm pretty sure Square is not putting in any sort of grace period so if Amazon, GMG, etc don't email out the actual launch game codes in a timely fashion, a lot of people will suddenly get locked out of their accounts. Maybe all this stuff with the early access codes will have them prepared (ha ha).
