It runs quite well on max settings on an ATI 5870M, which is 3-4 years old, so you're probably right. A far cry from the original release, which ran like shit on the same card if I remember right.I will say this new engine of theirs runs extremely well on my machine which is a few years old now. I had swapped out the video card at the end of last summer, but I suspect even if I had not the game would look very pretty with a high frame rate.
You save the data and it makes it easier to just import those settings over to a new character.I'm gonna go home and check out that character creator, will you be able to lock down a char on Gilg when you use it?
It'd be repetitive as fuck, but dumb not really guess it depends on what you wanna do in the end. I know I'd burn out before I'm done though, I'll definitely lvl a couple more jobs to 50 after Scholar but I don't see myself playing every classes in a row doing the same shit over and over. Would be worth it for DPS classes though at least, I doubt tanks and CNJ will have trouble finding groups even later on.Would it be dumb to level most classes to 30ish right off the bat instead of picking one and unlocking its corresponding job and going to 50? Only reason I'd want to do that is to get through the lower and mid levels on most classes as a lot of people are leveling.
Will probably see people leveling for a long time because of just that, the ability to level multiple classes, so lowbie areas will probably always have a certain population unlike many games where there is never a reason to go backwards. Also will probably get a new influx of players when the PS4 version is released. With no AAA competition at all on the consoles, I think you will see a steady stream of people for a good while yet (if the game gets good word of mouth, which I think it will. I certainly like it).Would it be dumb to level most classes to 30ish right off the bat instead of picking one and unlocking its corresponding job and going to 50? Guess I'll just do Marauder, Glad, Lancer, and Pug (cnj is that's required for paladin) then since I'll probably just end up being a tank in the end. It'd be repetitive as fuck, but dumb not really guess it depends on what you wanna do in the end.
