So, does anyone know if chain exp killing with a large(ish?) group is still productive like in Natalan with 1.0? havent really noticed any spots tbh, but wouldnt mind finding some nice grind spots to sit down and murder stuff with a group. I'm pretty interested to know if anyone here has tried it out yet

Minor quibble, but the 3102 error is still around somewhat. I finally got in a group for one of the many main storyline group dungeon quests, and promptly lost internet for 6 seconds. I then battled the 3102 'character still in game' error for almost half an hour. Maybe when they put in an afk timer they'll boot linkdead characters quicker too *knock on wood*
The good news is my group couldn't kick me out even if they wanted to, so I got to finish the dungeon with em (can you even boot people???)

The end of the story quest was freaking epic. If the upcoming story/expansions is close to that or FF11 story stuff it will be awesome.

It looks like you're forgetting about Bahamut's Coil in all your posts about the content currently available.
As for Praetorium vs. Amdapor, Sean is right. I don't see any possible way that Praetorium can compete with skipping all the trash in Amdapor. People are getting 80 Philosophies in under 14 minutes now. Even a full guild group of people who don't care about loot drops anymore skipping every cutscene isn't going to come close to that efficiency.
you already registered an early access code I'm guessing, but not the retail code? (playstation version comes in the jewel case on the back of the manual, amazon it is available under "my account -> video game downloads" or something, gmg it will list 2 seperate codes under the game... SE retail code went to spam in gmail even if EA code wasn't regarded as spam, and you can get your Square enix code from findmyorder.com or something like that... check reddit for more specific intructions depending on how you purchased the game.

Amdapor done legit takes around 25 min for I believe 100
Once you cap your 300 myth stones for the week which is 6 amdapor runs. We have found that getting roughly 150 tomes every 25 min in a 8 man is gearing us faster then 100 tomes every 25 min doing AK in a 4 man.
Obviouslly if you can skip all the trash in AK, then AK would be better. If you can explain how this is done, and it's not an exploit then I will concede on the argument.

I don't know at low levels but at 43-50 pretty much everyone is exploiting the DD fate in the eastern mines area of northern thalanan, instead of killing the stage 1 fate mobs you just kill the level 49 adds that endlessly spawn and can chain up to 80-150k xp depending on how many groups there are and how many AOErs/taggers your group has. That fate respawns every 75 mins or so so its pretty stupid.
The problem with everywhere else is that I don't think theres any spots where mobs will spawn fast enough to keep a chain going, you will pretty much be resetting chains every 10 seconds making the XP/hour far, far, far less than just doing every fate and going AFK in between. Even solo its hard to find a mob density to keep a chain past 10, in a group I imagine it would be impossible.
The only time sink in Ak is the trash, so if you can go directly to all the bosses, you can do that place in less then 15 min. Which would be incredible.

There is always a risk in things like this, in my opinion and experience on the site mentioned its fairly low to non-existant.

If I'm a SCH and want to max my Mind, what if I want to switch to ACN or SMN and DPS for dungeons / raids; I'll still have my Mind maxed out which doesn't help for DPS at all. From what I see it's 10k seals to do a single stat reset each time. Should I just do 50% to Mind and Int?

I'm pretty sure ability points are awarded per class and spent per class, so when you switch, you don't take those SCH mind points with you to the other class. They have their own point pool to draw from.
