Practically all servers got them since titan was slaughtered over and over. They haven't revealed how they will be distributed (probably some dumb event quest) but it's a level 1 earring with 1/1 def and 1 to all primary stats.

I'm hopefully to be done end of day Sunday. The only remaining is ARM which I'm almost 32, LTW which I'm 20, WVR which I'm 37, and CUL which I'm 47.
I'm also mining 46, botany 33. Still a long way to go there =/ Wish I knew how to update my xivpads sig heh.

Crafting isn't actually that bad, with the triple leve turn ins and actually interesting crafting mini-game. It's the gathering that just bores me to tears. Though I still need to get a wired controller and it probably won't be as boring. I can deal with the grindy nature of it, but I would love if you could just hit something to collect all taps of that item, instead of having to "interact" for every single tap on a node.

Gathering is fucking horrible. I can't stand it, and I have a turbo controller where it's considerably easier than mouse/keyboard (Set target mode to only NPC/Objects and have X auto-fire when pressed). Thank god for Netflix. But, after I get 50 in all the crafts, I'll get 50 in the gathering and then finally blast through all the adventuring stuff. Wouldn't mind being 50 in everything by the next patch or two, but it's the tradeskills that I really wanted. It's a great way to pad your money (If I wanted, I'd easily have over 10 million gil by now just on GSM), and when they drop new high tier recipes I'll already be ready to go instantly.

I just picked up fishing and I feel like I have to hit 50 on that. I hated botany, every single part of it(well maybe not like 10-15 when I started HQing stuff and I was gathering herbs for alchemy, but definitely after that) and I still haven't finished lvling it to 50 or mining to 20, even though I was 46botanist 18miner like first week of launch, but fishing is pretty fun and goes fairly fast. I mean, the actual act of fishing is boring as shit, don't even get to use abilities, but the whole finding the right spots, trying different baits to see which catches the higher level fishes more consistently and all that, I find very interesting. There's a huge log of stuff to catch too and unlike botany/mining it doesn't take you 1min to complete the log when you get to a new tier. It is however entirely and completely pointless. But eh I have cooking and alchemy to 50 already, I need fishing for the holy trifecta of worthless shit.
In the meantime amassing leves to power through GSM, probably leatherworking after that, so I can craft full sets of most shit. Then "only" need armorer and blacksmith duo to do metal shit.
Crafting is by far the best part of the game to me, that and the storyquest I liked(other than the shitty filler crap they added to give xp). It's a simple minigame, but it's fun and the cross class skills(or skills at all), the interclass dependecies and the gearing and progression aspect makes it really interesting. I usually don't like crafting and I do it because it's simple to do and because it's generally needed with shitty bop recipes or what not, but in this game I like it a lot.
I'm currently a fishing addict. Don't get enough time to play, but fishing is almost 40. Not too sure what I'll be able to do with all the fish I'll be catching other than sell em, but I have quite a bit o' fishes. Also - servers down?

There's a 2h maintenance, they announced it yesterday. It should be done now though, but servers still down, so they're like 10mins late.
I bought this, I don't know why. Perfect commentary on how desperate we all are for something.
According to playerauctions you can get 1mill for 15$, which is surprising. Don't wanna risk my account even though im nearly broke though.
