How do you fire the guns and shit in CM on a PS3 controller? Holding R2 and pressing O or whatever button its preset to doesnt work because i got yelled at last time i was there.
Im pretty sure the 1m is for legacy servers. If its for any server then they just have enough bots churn out the 1-50 400-500k plus shard mining.

-Looks like were getting daily random duty finder quest for tokens of some sort.
-Major shortage of tanks...Tanks will have extra exp/gill rewards when queuing?
-They will bribe players to play tanks with some shit?
-MVP vote for duty finder for some currency you can spend on mounts mount gear..etc?
-Server only LFG interface coming Yoshida wants people to form groups server side not only use duty finder.
-Coil will get more Turns in 2.2, and in the meantime we'll have Crystal Tower added in 2.1 along with the primal extreme modes and whoever the "new primal" is.
-Dungeons getting more gill drops maybe FATES as well.
-Smartphone app will have more features added like selling shit on market...etc But you will have to pay a small fee.
-2.1 will have some sort of gear sorting feature added.
This is the first 1/2 of the interview, more coming later I guess.

They are shard mining, and making a killing at it. They teleport to the nodes while stealthed. They are probably making 15k shards per day. That alone is worth about 300-400k

Curious, how do people who haven't dabbled in MMOs like them feel about it? Is there that starry eyed MMO wonder that us jaded fucks never get to experience anymore?
edit: That said, I actually really, really do love FF14s world and atmosphere. One of the best for me since EQ. When I see stuff like sandstorms in thalanan I'm still impressed.

She has a lot of confusion about acronyms and the social etiquette involved. Like... why is it the tank's responsibility to mark targets and explain fights even if they have never even been in the zone before even if they don't know what the "trash" is going to do.
She cried after multiple multiple wipes in Brayflox because she couldn't get out of the breath in time and bragged all day about killing Titan on her second attempt a few days later. So I'd say both the highs are higher and the lows are lower.
But some of the things that "us jaded mmo fucks" do she will do as well, like skip over quest text... I saw her doing it with the storyline quest and I was like "wtf are you doing, that's the best part of this game" and she was like, "why bother to read it, it's just going to tell me what I need to do in the duty list anyways, and usually it's just go here and talk to x person or kill 3 of x monster."
But she won't skip over text when it's being voice acted, but it's like she feels that if a quest was important to the storyline it would have added audio.

People were definitely 50 by release. I checked my own posts in this thread cause I remember people commenting on my level, I posted on the 27th saying I was close to 50 but I didn't poopsock it and there were already 50s for at least a day on my server. I don't remember fates being faster or slower or anything, but I didn't bother with fates much either so maybe they were faster. Doesn't look that much faster though, maybe it was due to zones being more populated? It seems FATEs spawn fairly fast during primetime but it slows down quite a lot sometimes off hours.
