I'll resub the day they reduce ability cool downs by a 1 second.....honestly was my only huge complaint about the game. Playing a warrior on my 2nd account it was SO fucking annoying and seemed so slow. Some might enjoy but I just couldn't truly enjoy the game with that slow of combat. Don't get me wrong I don't want complete spam fest but it just seemed so slow as a tank; blm wasn't as bad with cast times.

So the free days I got for buying it on Ps4, apply to PC as well. Logging into PC just fine on the same account. Although it doesn't let you log into the same account at the same time. Lol.

Time to heal some dungeons using a PC, and see how that goes... not sure I'm going to like it more...

So I've been healing in games for a really long time, but after playing this on the Ps4 as a WHM, switching to PC is kinda silly. The F keys to target group members just seems tedious compared to systems in place on Ps4. I can for 1 cast switch to another target, and it jumps back to previous target,whether that's tank, or mob, on the Ps4. I didn't see an option of this on the PC.

I suppose everyone yells about healing on Ps4 when I get into groups larger than 4? Because having to scroll through everyone to get to the one person you want would probably be entirely tedious and lame. But for leveling up and single groups, there's no way Ps4 or controller on PC isn't better.

Have you heard of the mouse peripheral? It is quite the revolutionary invention. You click people, and bam they're selected. Seriously though, that's all there is to it. I don't think anyone heals by using the F keys on PC. You can also make mouse over macros, though macros don't queue so that can be annoying for your main heals, but great for cooldown stuff and what not. And yeah it becomes more annoying in 8man.

Only character I end game with is my healer, and I'm keyboard / mouse and I have zero difficulty. Bounce back and forth from clicking the unit frames or F1-F8. Only macro I use is for Swiftcast + Raise.

Lol. Good one Pyros. After using the Ps4 controller, using the mouse to click on party members still felt tedious. Guess it all comes down to what we are used too. I'm sure it'll be easier as I use it more.

I have a 50 PLD on Gilgamesh that I play on PS4, but I use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and things run great. I tried using the controller, and while some things are vastly easier and quicker to initiate, I have yet to put in the time commitment to really make it second nature.

That said, whats a good FC I can join on Gilg?

Targeting and combat feel better with a controller, to me. Coming from WoW, the GCD speed feels more foreign with a keyboard than it does with a controller. Everything else is way easier with a mouse and keyboard. Navigating the UI, especially.

We should nail down which guild everyone is joining. I'm game to join ISIS, or anything else really.

Had another join Isis tonight, and I've invited a couple friends that I convinced to get this game on ps4. We are far from doing any raiding but we have some friendly folk and actually starting to see some chat every now and then.

It's pretty crazy. Was unprepared for how much people rp in this game when I started playing last year. I seriously thought some people in my guild were having rl issues and shit but turns out they were just rping lol. I was like wtf?

That's kinda weird. In my FC, all the RP shit is kept to linkshells or tells or whatever. I see them retards hugging each other behind the house or whatever every now and then, and some people sure like spamming those stupid emotes that look like they're kissing each other while doing weird catgirl noises, but overall I haven't had a problem with the whole thing. The weddings I guess kinda bring the RP out every now and then, but I haven't bothered going to one just yet.

There's certainly some RPers though, I think good looking models, catgirls, final fantasy, lots of factors and shit. There's also a fuckton more women in my FC than in any wow guild I've been in, though that was years ago and generally raiding guilds, so maybe not an accurate comparison.


As a side note, failed a reclaim and lost 1.2 millions. I had to reclaim cause I kinda fucked shit up due to not focusing on the craft, and then it failed, feels bad.

Well relatively, it's not so bad. I just had to buy more shit and recraft it. The profit on the item is about 1.5millions anyway, so I'll still gain money in the end, just only 300k instead.

Was the 2nd mistake in a row, I was still thinking about the first, I was making a vanya silk HQ for the craft, I hit great strides and got excelent so I byregot and then forgot to use ingenuity with 10dur left, I hit careful synth and well, only got half progress so I lost like 80k worth of potash. So I was raging at me being a retard and losing 80k while I started the next craft, and hit rapid synth first, failed, hit it again, then remembered I should have pbp first so said fuck it I'm reclaiming because no way I'm getting 100% with 7durability wasted on progress, and... bam item gone. Typical crafting shit when you don't pay attention.
